It is a fair point ,would open can of worms if they gave him a wild card.He is GP material.

If you read his post correctly he is referring to Workington, hence my reply.

Away points won minus home points lost - an updateFromafar replied to Tapeworm's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway It is just an opinion regarding who are more fancied team,Berwick have already pipped a lot of more fancied Teams IMO.Guests always run the risk of critisisum depending how they score. If you take Summers as an example perhaps his big scores while guesting might have hampered Berwicks chances( only an example)

Ipswich V BerwickFromafar replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Well done to the Bandits, all considered a very good season.

Congrats to all concerned, but it does make you wonder why this effort to get the meeting on is not replicated sometimes in the middle of the season.Everybody knew it was last chance salon for both Teams, and the attitude was different from riders(or were they told to get on with it).The Posponed Berwick match earlier in the season the sun was out 1/2 hour after it was called off.Double standard from Promotions and Riders IMO .Well done to the Bandits.

Away points won minus home points lost - an updateFromafar replied to Tapeworm's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Edinburgh are 5 points behind Glasgow with 1match each to ride.

Edinburgh could do with rain Off's at other meetings, would question running outstanding fixtures after cut -off if they don't extend date again. All it does is clog up fixtures for the successful clubs. This happens most seasons as the most successful Clubs that season are usually still in most Competitions.

Ipswich v Glasgow Thursday 13thFromafar replied to Laobob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway That's the trouble nowadays poor track prep, either by doctoring or not bothering their ar#e .Results over entertainment still expect fans to turn up.Ask Loius the reason he will tell you the riders want it that way no doubt.

Ipswich v Glasgow Thursday 13thFromafar replied to Laobob's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Even though Ipswich ran Tigers close away last week, have sneaky that Tigers will be well up for tonight and fancy them to win.Should be good match if the track is decent.

In Gb at tracks that do not have clocks, the Ref often "flashes" the green light to tell the riders to move forward when they are not obeying the start Marshall ,which is quite a lot .But with a clock to look at the riders should not leave it to the last few seconds,it is noticeable when they are late to the gate after a problem they move right in and ready to go sharpish.
