Barking up the wrong tree there IMO .the trouble is week-end tracks having blank dates due to BSPA events and are not allowed to run even though they are not involved.

Disagree,lower wages maybe, pay what clubs can afford ,averages are killing the sport the way they are being mucked about with IMO

Totaly agree,get back to basic ,speedway in GB is at rock bottom on structure.IMO

Bit harsh on Doyle,you still to be able to ride better equipment. Not just sit on it.

Their accountant will take care of the dreaded expenses no doubt.

As you know that only applies to some clubs in speedway,just like the rest of the rule book !!

Thats what I am saying,we shall see!!

Its a sport ,if you want to do it for a living fair enough.Not seen many riders pack it in though.

The point being it is a sport they don't need to do it if they can't make a living out of it do the full time job as the majority of the fans do.!! Promoters and riders don't want to divulge their income and expenditure which is their prerogative but no good complaining if they are losing money.Speedway fans have keep many clubs running in the last few seasons with donations from their hard earned money(working full time ).

If that is the case(andI don't despute it)it is easy to see why clubs are in financial difficulties based on crowd levels at most tracks.

Full time speedway riders.Maybe Part time would be the answer for them!nobody is forcing them to be a speedway rider.Speedway is in a mess,pure and simple.

Too much in the context of the money coming into the sport,that's how so many clubs are in financial difficulty and are only surviving on the generosity of the fans.As I have said before the riders are digging there own grave.Its a sport if you can make enough money at it you should pack it in.Promoters are their own worst enemy in some cases.Many tell you about their losses but whose money are they losing in some cases,is it mainly Sponsership money??
