  1. I think you will find in soccer in Scotland and England the Play-offs are to determine promotion and relegation the Champions in the Leagues are the Teams with the most points at the end off the season
  2. cannot see any reason why Berwick fans would give him abuse, done the business when in Bandits colours.think he will get a good reception. The Berwick fans that I know that seen him ride for Bandits are knowledgable and certainly would not stoop that low.
  3. Trouble is you can only have 2 reserves and you will have a lot of serious contenders!!!!!!!!!!
  4. To be Honest don't think the change will make any difference to our results, apart from Claus the rest are very Inconsistant from meeting to meeting ,were are getting results though, they are all waiting for their turn at reserve to earn some real points money .We are having a decent season but we won't win anything.
  5. that's Speedway, what you might get now if all the fixtures aren't completed before cut off date is that some teams will have met each other 3times without racing other clubs home and away due to the extra fixture situation.Only in Speedway.
  6. Only if they keep winning their matches surely?
  7. Can see a little bit of a shambles developing, there is an easy solution though ,just give the trophy to Monarchs.
  8. Kurtz was impressive at Sheffield the other night, looks the real deal.
  9. Having not yet seen Robert Lambert "live"I will leave him out but I can Honestly say I just can't see anything special in our young riders of today compared to the young foreigners .Having seen all the great Brits since the Sixty's. Collins,Lee Morton Jessup and a few more I just don't see where the future of British Speedway is coming from.Sincerly hope I am proved wrong.Example The 1st time I saw Holder and Lately Max Fricke I said yes these guys have "something" I was right with Holder and Fricke won't let me down IMO .
  10. Kildemand is a good example nothing special at Workington but sheer will to win is getting him there.Financially I don't know his background but he is certainly giving his best shot.the young Brits are waiting for it to happen IMO
  11. Harris is like a broken record.I think he has a tape recording of his reply to interviews it's virtually the same every time word for word.Unfortunately he is still in the squad because there is nobody better.
  12. Cannot see much changing, when you see the guys hanging about in NL racing for years that tells you a lot about their desire to reach the Top.
  13. Thorny subject, but I agree with you regarding Young Brits.its a selfish sport you have just got to knuckle down and get on with it instead of moaning about support from BSPA .Main trouble nowadays is trying to find Sponsers in what is a Mickey Mouse sport in this country nowadays.
  14. Jack is excellent in the Superbikes and everybody gets a mention .More time to give information and knows his stuff.
  15. Don't know what all the fuss is regarding Kidemands riding he is a tremendous entertainer and improving rapidly, that's what you pay money for to watch.
  16. Back to the meeting,I think if Kolodiuz had kept chasing Ward Iversen would not have be able to pass him, but IMO he went to protect his position on the last lap and scrubbed of some of his speed.Still was a great race from Iversen.
  17. Don't know what all the fuss about Team GB is ,it would not have mattered who they picked or who was in charge it would have been the same result.we are just not good enough and are along way short of being a force in World Speedway again.Nothing will change in the near futureIMO.
  18. Agree good meeting and a great track,is there some kind of boycott regarding Bydgoscz with the Poles, they like their Speedway you would have thought the place would have been packed out.Strange one. Some edge of the seat racing and a great finish to the meeting.
  19. Hancock has a superb riding style ,smooth as silk going faster that Ward and Co without hanging off a bucking bronco.Tai is in the same mould as Hancock IMO smooth as silk on the bike. Greg has few years left in him yet judging by what we are watching.
  20. That's the problem nowadays the riders just don't want to ride a wet track,Health and Safety rules ,I certainly won't be traveling to Berwick tomorrow with rain in the forecast.Too many meetings called off IMO can't afford to waste money on travelling wondering if the riders fancy it or not,or start meeting with the intention of running 10 heats and calling a result.
  21. Sympathies to the Berwick Promotion these rain offs are a financial disaster for the Club.
  22. Thought Nilsson was unlucky to get excluded ,there were plenty hard moves in last nights meeting, experienced riders read them most of the time, the Czech tried to keep it wound on in a no win situation IMO.Some good racing last night the Final should be a cracker if they don't make the track to slick.
  23. I get the impression he has been dropped for the new rider and won't ride for Tigers again this season.
  24. trouble was it wasn't Lindons money they were spending by the sound of things and events that followed.
  25. He will have to win the Lottery to improve his finances, his speedway earnings are certainly not going to get any better than what he has earned in the last 2 seasons. At 27 just yet maybe leaving it too late.Cant see Continental clubs rushing for his signature.Good Luck to him though.
