  1. It’s surprising that the Berwick Promotion would agree to Stream BSN when it local rivals visiting might affect travelling fan numbers, but these days it’s maybe not such a big deal.BSN do a great job though.
  2. Very sad to hear the passing of Lacey Louden , with her husband Jim and Geoff Coulston they were instrumental in organising the memorable Berwick Supporters Bus in the original Shielfield Days in the 70’s/80’s,as well as stalwarts of the Club with all their work behind the scenes. RIP.
  3. Sponsors and Fans Supporters funding is keeping a few Clubs afloat nowadays.
  4. Expenditures more than Income only ends one way though.Riders demands and moaning about can’t make living out the sport(wanting years earnings for5/6 months riding) need to be addressed. While don’t know about Premiership attendances the Championship crowd levels in the North are certainly nothing to write home about.
  5. He never had many meetings at Berwick he was injured half the season.
  6. GB Promoters have created their own downfall by letting the riders dictate unrealistic demands in declining sport in UK.
  7. I was surprised that Dan went for the inside so quick considering he was out of gate 4 .He probably could could have pick them of at will during the race.He took the chance and it didn’t pay off this time but thats racing.Wish him a speedy recovery he is having a great season.
  8. As a successful business man just can’t understand his running of Birmingham Speedway very roughshod to say the least looks like he’s been led up the garden path.
  9. That was 9years ago not 9 months 🤔The fact is not many want to ride in GB when better offers are in Europe. Brainwashed.
  10. Will we have any spare points when the averages change !!
  11. One in a generation, saw him in second half demonstration at Kings Lynn when he was 15 and his time were faster than most Heats in the main meeting.
  12. Thought it wouldn’t be long before someone brought Vinnie into it.He was blameless.IMO
  13. Killeen has never been the safest of riders but there have been a few over the years in the same boat.
  14. Is Borke anywhere near fit though certainly well of the pace with Berwick.
  15. Wish Dan a speedy recovery.Couldn’t have come at a worse time for him with the SGP2 qualifiers next week. Can be a awkward injury.
  16. Easily the biggest crowd in GB .IMO
  17. I think we’ll have to accept it a different game nowadays. On the Continent it’s all “throttle jockeys”as the tracks are not technical as GB.These guys today have technical skills but that doesn’t mean as much nowadays.Hopefully guys like the Thomson’s ,Cairns and Harrison will get the breaks and go further in the sport. It was entertaining today IMO.Lets face the Poles that appear aren’t exactly world beaters we expect. Some even go home!!
  18. Was really impressed with Cairns very stylish and sensible rider for 15.Luke Harrison is very underrated and doesn’t get the plaudits he deserves,he is also stylish and very controlled for a 17 year old.
  19. Well done to Sam today hung in for good win, hope he has turned a corner now after a good meeting last night.think a bit dirt on the outside line at Berwick makes for good racing for the fans, but I’m hearing some riders don’t like it that way !!
  20. The Ref ignored the rules at Berwick last night let most races go when there was movement mainly from Lawson and Kerr so it must be his discretion.
  21. Probably, but that’s speedway. You wouldn’t have pick Hagon as the winner either when they line up for the Final though.
  22. Decent meeting IMO.some talent there.Harrison,Cairns,Scott very young.Hagon never gave up the cause and it paid off ,unlike Tigers No2 who spent most of his heats looking at the opposition.Cairns looks class act and Harrison was very impressive.
  23. He not going far in the sport if he doesn’t want to mix it,young or not!
