Yes we know that. The issue is he has chosen to ride again in Poland the day after that meeting thus missing Newcastle v Redcar. Ellis Perks, the Redcar rider is in the same meeting as Robert today but will be attempting to get back to the UK for the Newcastle v Redcar meeting. Hence why quite rightly Newcastle don't have a guest facility whereas Redcar do if needs be, its not rocket science!!!!
-
He has to ride in Poland because the Poles said he has to, nothing more! Therefore why aren't the BSPA banning him for not fulfilling his GB fixture? Lambert has made the decision to forsake GB for Poland himself hence the Diamonds don't get a guest. Do you understand? Put simply. No guest for Newcastle but if Perks can't make it back the Bears have Aarnio booked as a guest apparently.
-
Rubbish! Lambert will already be in Poland plus they will pay far more money than Newcastle so I can see why he would prefer to ride for his Polish club. However, this should not give Newcastle the right to a guest. They have the rider in their team knowing this could happen! Again I point out that the BSPA don't agree with your blinkered opinion as YOUR team haven't got a guest facility!!!!!
-
Have you? International ruling by who? The Poles? Im sure if it WAS an international ruling you would have a guest facilty but you HAVEN'T! Why is that?
-
Initially Perks couldn't make it back but is now going to try.. Respect! Lambert has put his Polish Team ahead of his British team so why should should the Diamonds get a facility? He could ride for Newcastle is he really wanted to. Having a rider in your team who rides in Poland runs a risk of a fixture class which is Newcastles problem as they chose to sign Lambert and have stuck with him. Seems the BSPA think the same. Hasn't Ged Rathbone had his licence suspended in a similar senario by the way?
-
Why is it madness? Newcastle have an obligation to put out their strongest side which they can't. From what I've heard Lambert could make it back for the meeting but has decided to ride in Poland on Sunday so why should they get a facility if its true? I've also heard that Perks who is riding in the same GB meeting as Lambert intends to ride on Sunday. Agree with others though that the sport is in a mess at present!

Biggest And Most Important Bspa Meeting

Guests and the doubling up/down situation and the absences it creates. Worse than ever! -
So Thursday is a guest fest for the Half a Team Bears! Jorgensen replaces Garrity. Ostergaard replaces Perks. Carr replaces Ayres. R/R for Wright. This Thursday was a blank date until last week when Newcastle stepped in. The promotion knew Perks was riding for Rye House on Thursday so why not leave it as a blank date. Won't be spending my money on this!

This joke sport in the UK is run by clowns and after 30+ years im finished with it. Complete shambles. The BSPA isn't fit for purpose!!!! I give up! -
Redcar Half Team V Glasgow Strong Team

Won't be attending this farce tonight with the team Redcar are putting out! No disrepect to those taking part but people want to see Redcar v Glasgow not this cobbled together Bears team. Will be spending my hard earned elsewhere tonight. -
Considering the importance of this meeting and with Perks being such a key rider I'm dissapointed he won't be riding tomorrow since he is only a meeting reserve in Germany and the riders that are actually in the meeting proper will be riding in the UK on Thursday. Surely more thought and effort could have been put in to ensure Perks could face Glasgow. This coupled with 2 guests and r/r mean I can't make the effort to attend.

Redcar V Workington Sgp Cl

Garrity clearly jumped in heats 1 and 13. Agree though that the ref wasn't consistent as some other offenders weren't brought back. -

Garrity needs to be up to speed from the start. Been on the wrong end of too many 5-1's in heat 1 up to now this year. Think it maybe a battle of the reserve and Williamson will swing it the way. -
