imo thats not cheating its being tactically aware for the benefit of your team, has been done countless times and will be done countless times in the future by all teams including the world cup as long as the double pointer is around. as for average fixing again this has also continually been done by promotions/ riders since averages came into effect and will continue to do so, it is a jealousy of success the same as edinburgh and mr harkess get.

i really cannot believe what i am reading, a young british rider is having a superb night in an elite league playoff final, he gets to the tapes and whilst under 2 minutes his goggle strap breaks, no intention to race without them, both he and the start marshall (very sportingly i will say) try to fix them, two minutes ticking away, not wanting to let his team down gets on with his job, racing speedway. the internet world call him and his team cheats, stupid, dangerous etc. ffs its not like kennet who premeditated his offence, its happened yes i know the rules have been broken, possibly unknowingly by the start marshall and newman, now im not up to date with appeals etc or after the event deductions, but just recently we have had somerset make an official objection during and after a meeting at redcar over an ineligible rider on rr, there objection and subsequent appeal were thrown out as the referee on the night had declared the result i believe, now here was a rider not eligible in a race, what if he had caused an accident and injured someone whose fault would it have been etc etc, where were all you upstanding vitriolic objectors then. oh yes i forgot the rider in question here is from and rides for Poole. and no i am not from or do i support poole. yes maybe the 2 points should be deducted, not my decision, but get over yourselves, please.

another no to this would probably come from the landlords of many a stadium as they want a certain amount of rent paid over a year, so clubs would have the same amount to pay in rent regardless of usage,

if you watch the video wright hits newman twice as has been said, the first time is what caused him to lock, so wright caused the incident, but tbf to swindon starke took wright off in ht 12 imo

after seeing the video on fb and twitter you two need to have a rethink it shows newman in front and getting hit twice by wright.(but in starmans case he will probably side with the somerset rider anyway). appears from poole's point of view a great meeting, were swindon bad or poole good, unfortunately probably wont get an unbiased opinion. still think swindon can get into playoffs with the matches in hand.

not the first time he has had a doctors note issued straight after a lynn meeting on a weds to miss pboro meetings but has ridden in germany instead. bit like the only rider not able to get back from w/c in denmark for pboro. apologise to worky fans for putting this on here butyou have not had the chance to see lambert so have been cheated by these actions as have other clubs in pl this year.

Possibly he has and possibly, aj at lakeside, hansen at Workington, lambert at pboro. I take you are going to include them and many others this year and in the past. How many times have olly allen ritchie hawkins etc missed meetings at certain tracks.

No different to lovass many years ago or dryml when oxford won the title or young lambert at Peterborough this season and many others in all clubs in all British leagues over the years but because it's poole its a crime of the century and until we have squads or shared places ( ironically what ford has proposed many times) all teams will use the facility available.

Makes me wonder if this is possibly why drillerman rider Todd Kurtz has decided to come back and race. Maybe just a coincidence.

i do have to have a wry smile, riders crash at poole/cov or wherever etc its the track, several crashes at kings lynn and its rider error, there was even mention that stocks had been there at the weekend and it had rained all morning, how many times have we heard buster preparing a superb track for str and nl meetings the day after stocks and as for the weather the track was superb in the semi's last year after rain up to 6/7pm of the day, just admit buster got it wrong this time.
