  1. like i said was a genuine question, i did not know, so although a bit of an all knowing answer scb, i do appreciate the replies
  2. you mention malta, would it of affected loram if it was a few years back or did he have patriallity, (genuine question)
  3. he may have been born here but i believe a british passport was not applied for or availble to him, remember something when he first came over i think was going to sign for kings lynn (if im right), but due to his average couldnt and ended up with newport.
  4. worrall bv kurtz s/set dilger poss redcar or who else up that way
  5. Didn't similar happen with him and belle vue a couple years back
  6. What could be interesting will be if the yanks run some state titles and how the aussies run there's at the moment its a free for all as has been shown this year with riders racing in as many as they like, will the western Australia title become popular for riders to travel to now or will the aussies decide you can only race your own state thus potentially maximising the amount of riders especially if they omit riders that will already qualify via averages also new Zealand has state titles I believe so who is eligible and who is worth taking on a bit like WA where only heeps is worth a punt on.
  7. Sheffield would have to drop someone else I believe to fit him my thinking is Glasgow to replace kozza. After money talks especially with garrity as has been proved in the past.
  8. The facts that I am taking are Alex's words not from any particular club. Unfortunately what we take as fact is not necessarily the truth. As in history what we take as fact was usually written by the conquers but are not necessarily the truth.
  9. Kozza did race in the queensland state title and failed to make top four, im not sure if alex did race a state title. But despite our other difference of opinion I agree with najjer that as far as I read it neither are eligible. 10. I didn't say anything about brady's need for a permit, I mooted the point that your club have tried two years on the trot to get riders in on illegal averages, jack is correctly on seven and so should of bk. And that alex himself said somerset caused his visa problem, which has potentially caused him problems again depending official clarification of the criteria. At the end of the day I have my opinion you have yours and will in all fairness defend your team.
  11. Or a club trying to sign aussies on illegal averages two years on the trot.
  12. But alex himself in an interview in the star blamed somerset for mucking him about one minute wanting him the next not throught the 13/14 close season which stopped any other club from applying for his visa until it was too late.
  13. But it didnt save campton after all he "possibly" would of been top four in his state championship, just as they "possibly" may have attained seven point average if not for injury, in my mind no difference and there should be no give and take.
  14. is that in an official capacity, ie applied and recieved from the relevant authority or just that he has lived here for a long time, quite a big difference that is very relevant to ukvi. alex davies is the one i feel for the most, was shafted basically last season by somerset with his visa much the same as sam master's previously had to sit out last season on a 7+ avg, now due to missing last season through no fault of his own could miss out again.
  15. i believe kozza didnt come over last season, not due to his visa directly but indirectly as he felt not being able to double up was not worth it financially, obviously the deal from the glasgow promotion (and im not having a dig) has made it viable for this year, now its wether he is eligible or not.
  16. After reading about matt wethers are doolan, harrisson and henry safe.
  17. Tbh najjer you are on a lot of threads going off about this and that rider shouldn't/doesn't qualify for a visa when the last two seasons your club has tried to manipulate/break/change the rules with their teams declaration which in all honesty probably hasn't helped the situation with ukvi.
  18. Douglas final avg was 6.73 but he did get top 4 in qsld state title so going by worky pr "should? Be ok. If it's either.
  19. Have just heard the Legend Lew has passed on, sad news indeed but what a life story.
  20. i think you will find Fisher is also in need of a visa
  21. and for the pl to bring in a draft system for said nl riders the chance to progress as opposed to many teams having journeymen 3-5 point foreigners year in year out
  22. you mean mondays because thats when wolves race, lets face it mondays is one of the worse nights for riders doing the leagues, poland sunday then england monday back out to sweden for tuesday, its easier to go straight to sweden from poland, imo weds and thurs would be bestfrom sweden to hear race 2 nights back out to wherever for gp's internationals etc then poland sundays, after all, kings lynn, leicester, poole, belle vue, coventry (i believe) swindon have and could race these nights, lakeside possibly not sure on stocks, just leaves wolves who never seem to move for any reason.
  23. taken from speedway gb a-z CHAPMAN, Samuel (Sam) DATE OF BIRTH: 16 February 1989, Truro, Cornwall. BRITISH CAREER: (2014) Scunthorpe II; (2015) Birmingham. does this create an issue or not with his nl place, any body know for certain.
  24. I would love it if all four riders at the first meetings got to the start and all got off their bikes to garden. Could be interesting as if all are excluded its going to pee everyone off and show how ridiculous a rule it is. Like has been said it's how long some riders take not how they go about it.
  25. claus has not really replaced laguta, czestochowa lost their licence and are having to rebuild from the bottom division, and i do not mean that against claus
