World Champion !
-
GB Speedway has lost a world champion from it's team. Those in charge, those buying or paying for the kebab team meal, should look at themselves to ask WHY. Team GB wont get to the 2017 SWC Final this season. Woffy cares about that yet we criticise him. That is beyond my brain
-
Yeah, so much that he's willing to put his own money into Team GB for 5 years. NO hope for you is there, you can't even understand , or want to, what is written in the article because you wear blinkers.. For once ignore the swear words and read the rest. Its a damming insight into team management at elite level.

Great interview. Says a lot about Rosco and his match preparation by eating in a kebab shop. Also says a lot about Tai and his loyalty to Team GB. The knockers have shown him the door to a large degree. We have a world champion yet treat him like crap. Some posters on here need a head check.

very sad. I enjoyed my seasonal trip to Coventry. Sad for the riders and staff too. Speedway is in a mess.

Good luck if getting an internal Russian flight. Bumpy ride ! -
Rubbish. The meeting was a great success in 2016. If you don't want to go then don't go.

try booking.com or hotels.com for accomdation -
Not saying he didn't pass riders, he had great equipment, but he won most races from the gate. I'd rather see a Loram type rider than a guy like Crump who won 95% of races from the gate. I only saw him ride Belle Vue a couple of times but he was almost impossible to beat as he was quicker from the gate than everyone else. Brilliant rider and a wonderful ambassador for the sport but not box office for me.

Great rider who won many titles but I found him boring to watch. Gate and go. Similar to Hancock. Hope he stays retired as it would be a shame to see him at 90% of his old self.

Couple of hours from Stanstead. Easy ! -
Its complete nonsense. If riders are given an opportunity they will use it in most cases. Whoever had this bright idea needs their brain testing. Riders get enough branding opportunties through sponsors, they don't need a stupid number on there back.

This is ridiculous and I cannot fathom the reasoning behind it Much prefer 1-15 for ease of identification / position in table from last season etc. Dudek 692 - Jesus wept.

We have no control of the weather and therefore it's totally random. Stats mean nothing. -

If you are worried about getting a ticket Email or phone the club. Most Poles speak great English and will help you. -
Given the crowds for league matches it's obvious the riders are earning too much money and the clubs overspending. Not the fault of the riders of course, they sign a contract and want to earn, but the sport which is minority cannot cope. Costs need to be cut and clubs run within budget.

It should be quite simple to fasten the air fence to the track or maybe the bottom of the fence could be made heavy with water or sand. This making it harder to lift.

Rider of the Year: N.K.Iversen great servant to the UK and showed in 2nd half of the season when under pressure what a top class GP rider he can be. Young Rider of the year: B.Zmarzlik British Rider of the Year: Tai Woffinden as he was tremendous in the SWC and hopefully a compromise can be made so he rides in 2017 Young British Rider of the Year: Robert Lambert will keep on improving, have to remember how young he is and not expect too much Most improved Brit: Danny King for winning the British Championship and for doing so well at Cardiff / SWC Biggest Surprise of the year: Greg Hancock cheating in the GP. Never thought I would see that happen and, more importantly, punished promptly. Biggest Debacle: Belle Vue's opening meeting as it probably did more damage than we imagined at the time. Best Track Promotion - Glasgow. Not been to the track but all reports very positive. Best Meeting: Euro championship at Daugvapils. Never seen such great racing over a whole meeting Best meeting (Britain): SWC Final. Some great racing and Tai was immense for Team GB Most Tapes Broken : James "the start marshall nightmare" Sargeant Best Twitter Account : Rory Scheiln is always moaning but entertaining with Gary Havelock running a close 2nd Best Celebration : Danny Ayres after a rare Race 2 win. IF he doesn't win race 2 he's cooked for the rest of the meeting

Swedish leg of the 2017 Euro's on Saturday 5th. That will be on TV somewhere. -
I think he has left the team because he thinks its a shambles under Rossiter. That is a shame if accurate as we can't work without one of the very best in the world. In 2017 Team GB will get slaughtered without Woffiden's points. Take him out of the 2016 side, replace with Bomber or Scott Nicholls, we would have been a bad 4th in the Final.
-
Obvious that team manager Rossiter can have a holiday but Woffy's tweet is clear as crystal. The manager is probably the reason why Woffy won't ride for GB because he thinks not enough is being done to prepare. Why not ? What does Rossiter do for the other 51 weeks of the year ? Fair question and one he should be prepared to answer. He didn't even pick the team in 2016 as Tai Woffinden did that for him on Twitter after the British Final

That is 7 from 15. You have narrowed the field down well.
