  1. Where did I say you couldn't bring in Greg Hancock. Get the chip off your shoulder.
  2. Muddllo and Chris Holder are tweeting about the new averages not helping them and that being successful is now penalised. Tough on the Poole guys but had to smile as these moves are to benefit the sport as a whole.
  3. Middlo may or may not be the best but he gets a superb team each year with some fancy guests in the play off's. Two seasons ago he had Hancock come into the team, he is an excellent pro so he would be easy, but Middlo didn't inspire Lindback this year did he !! The best managers have a big chequebook behind them.
  4. So many people looking for the negative but why not look at the plus points.
  5. I hope it works for you Hertfordshire shale fans. Have you got any shale ?
  6. the averagres may take a season or two to even out but I can see this working well.
  7. @SpeedwayGB what happens to riders who will have converted avg over 12 eg Doyle? Will it be capped? Certain to fall once they get proper avg EL average to be multiplied by 1.4 and after first set of averages new figure applies. @SpeedwayGB e.g a rider has Champ average of 9 but is averaging 6.5 in Prem, what average is used for team changes? SpeedwayGB ‏@SpeedwayGB 3h 3 hours ago SpeedwayGB Retweeted Josh Gudgeon The average of the relevant league for a rider with two averages.
  8. speedwayGB tweeted There is a priority procedure ie club assets and the league that club is in.
  9. But two more Prem teams so thats 14 extra places to fill. We'll lose some GP riders because of the averages x 1.4 and because others can only do 3 leagues. I feel sorry for Danish riders like Anderson and Iversen who have always supported GB racing and always turn up to do there best. They may not be able to ride here because of a stupid Polish rule which must be some kind of restraint of trade. They will have to decide between Sweden and GB.
  10. doubt we'll have many GP riders to worry about with the averages and Polish 3 league rule.
  11. Been dealt with earlier in the thread. I am right. the press release very badly worded.
  12. I bet they would love you to go to speedway but on your own. They can have a night off.
  13. yes. I think Jason Doyle is looking to treble up and has mentioned Buxton. Not sure what his average will be ?? Chris Holder just said on Twitter he could be Poole and Plymouth.
  14. good to see you looking for the positives.
  15. Read it again. Every rider has his own budget and works to it. Its not hard to understand,
  16. yes. But cost cutting is part of this agm
  17. Change your name to Stevie Wonder. you are right. it's been cleared up with a tweet from BPSA. I hope the play off is a way of filling a stadium twice if the two teams look equal. Would Somerset have beaten Leicester in 2016 ?
  18. a 3pt premier rider has a budget same as 10pt rider has a budget. Everyone has to work within their own budget or they go broke. A 3pt rider, probably a young kid, will buy cast off stuff same as they do every season. If they buy new engines its up to them how they spend there cash. As more riders enter the sport they should buy Gergart to save money. Look for the positive not the negative.
  19. its been explained on twitter and multiplied by 1.4. Agree the press release is badly worded.
  20. Rider on 8 Elite = 11.2 which is now applied over both leagues. 11.2 is a big chunk from 40 Championship points for a team. Riders like Cook, Nicholls and Bomber should get some good offers. Pleased we are looking after our own for a change. there needs more explanation on riders who DID ride in two leagues but have differing success rates. assume no UK percentage reduction now. I feel sorry for Ipswich fans who bar Peterborough have some long road trips. Northern League is that in all but name .
  21. I don't know personal finances. But if the engines from different makers cost about the same yet maintenance is a fraction of the cost. You do the maths and I'm sure riders are doing some sums too. Easy to buy a Gerhard when your current engine expires.
  22. Surprised the BPSA have to look at this. If I were a rider I'd be trying to use them now. Lindgren proved they work and they are a fraction of the cost. the average thing is simple. Each rider has one average to be used in both leagues.
  23. But it should now work with riders having one average and the differential between Prem and Champ averages exactly 1.4. The teams should be equal but the Prem will maybe have some GP riders. Doubt many will ride here due to the 3 league rule placed on those who have a Polish team particularly the Danes.
