I would like to see Emil back in the GP's but does he deserve a wild card ? It was his choice to drop out so maybe he should earn his spot by, for one season, doing the GP challenge. Win or lose come back 2018.

Pleased for Pedersen. He is still a top class rider when his bikes are working properly. On tonights form he might win a GP before the season end.

Well done to Poole for getting Lindback but now is the time to introduce a rule to stop teams changing just for the play off's. It makes a mockery of the sport and an uneven playing field. I dont understand averages but 7 seems low for a GP rider. That needs looking at too. Buster needs to get his new rule book sorted for 2017.

Many young people use swear words in normal speech now days. But Tai should be asked to stop swearing or not be interviewed. It sounds awful. If his sponsors get no TV coverage he will soon alter his way.

In this weeks Star Peter Oakes reports about Dale Entwhistle quitting the sport as a referee. Plenty of reasons why he has quit but he says "riders don't appreciate we don't make the rules we just enforce them" In the Sheffield v Rye report the Star's own reporter Paul Rickett complains of a 'jobsworth decisions from the referee's box". He gives two examples where the ref excluded a rider for breaking a rule. Rickett doesn't say the decisions were wrong so I'll assume they were made correctly but he's not happy about the ref enforcing them. If the trade mag can't back a ref for doing his job correctly then we are in the mire. Its a pathetic piece of reporting.

Sad that some people make personal comments about two guys commentating and only doing their job. If you don't like them turn off the sound.

The last placed rider in the final gets points from the semi, either 3 or 2, so that is enough. Can't agree with anyone wanting 4/3/2/1 in the final. You shouldn't get reward for beating no other rider.

Anyone know if Rybnik is one of the less exciting tracks. Only seen one meeting from there and not much happened.

If Pedersen goes top 8 by knocking Pawlicki down to 9th it will solve a problem. Could then see Hampel get a wild card with two Dane's and Harris.

Great ride from Lindgren. But we can expect KB to be in the GP at some time in 2017.. When was the last time 4th place didn't get a ride ?
