I'm not condoning any rider having alcohol in his system but do we know how much alcohol there was ?. In many sports the reading to stop a participant racing is lower than allowed to drive a car in the UK. If he was over the drink/drive limit then it's a very sad day but maybe the reading was low. It would be good to know the facts before being too harsh on Darcy Ward.

Its a draining physical track. Maybe the TM was keeping Kus for 15 and didn't want him riding two races 14 and 15. Berwick won so it made no difference.

Claus Vissing may not be the best rider but he surely is one of the bravest and most commited. Making good viewing.

My first viewing of Berwick. It remins me of Tampere. Long straights with tight bends and limited passing going to happen. Its fast.

It was rubbish. The top riders generally got the best gate and it was the norm to see a rider deliberately lose a heat to ensure he continued to get the best gate. Riders who had a poor previous GP were forced to take rides 1 and 2 from the outside gates. It was a 2 race death sentence. The current system gives every rider a fair chance and that is why the GP's have so many different winners and are hard to predict. Thats what we want. Not Crump or Rickardson winning alternate meetings with every race beiong won from the gate

those two races look gate and go but it was very dry with no dirt.

Kildermand will be good to watch in the Final but he is a big crash waiting to happen. Hope he stays calm and rides with his head. I would have picked Andersen over either Mads or Kildermand. Bydgoszcz is his home track and he rode well tonight. Denmark are lucky to have so many good riders.

I agree about GB having Kings Lynn each year. That is not fair to other countries but they do get a big crowd. No country should be used in back to back seasons. Lets spread it around and get rid of automatic seeding to the final.
