  1. Read a tweet on Simon Stead's feed which said he's got the best record around Kings Lynn of any GB rider this year. That is fine but those stats mean nothing as performance must be judged on who he beat and who beat him. I sure our Team manager wouldn't pick someone based on a very small sample size and without analysing who Simon Stead has beaten in his races. We'll see how he does tonight against Lings Lynn for Leicester.
  2. I only stated who wasn't riding. I'll leave the selction to the Danish team boss. He has ridden well in the last 2 GP's so he could be picked.
  3. No Pedersen, Iversen, Bjerre or MJJ in 1st round. Giving them all a week off to prepare and be fresh for the final. Chance Bjerre may not be picked for the final ? Could go with Kildermand or Andersen
  4. Give the top guys a week off to have a holiday and then come back refreshed for the final. NIce if you have enough good riders to do it..
  5. Prague is a lovely city to visit, very cheap & you can walk all over the city centre. A beer can cost about 90p just off the main two squares providing you avoid the Irish bars & tourist traps. Very safe bar for the pickpockets who are blatent & obvious.
  6. Surprised with the team, thought Cook would get a ride, but on Saturday's performance Rosco could be right. Lts get behind the team and manager.
  7. good gp, crowd looked big, racing pretty good.
  8. He could be outside the top 8 come Saturday night. Not good news for the ex World Champ. Could he be out the SWC too ?
  9. He is good on Eurosport and talks some sense.
  10. no dispute about his media skills or being nice to the public, he does seem a very kind person, but he is safety first as a rider and isn't that exciting to watch. Nicki is exciting to watch so I will miss him when he retires..
  11. Greg is very dull to watch but a super pro who never misses a GP due to his conservative style. Be sad when he is gone but the more exciting racers we get to watch the more success for the GP series.
  12. Heat 9 - what Kildermand did to Bomber was far worse than what Pedersen did to Zagar at the last GP. Only difference was Bomber stayed on the bike. Plenty of riders do very hard moves.
  13. Kelvin Tatum's vidoe diary about the track was interesting. It wasn't easy for the riders in practise and may be relaid overnight.
  14. If one of the 14 qualifers drops out then Chris Harris will be in the GP Challenge Final. That is the system Get over it. Ever thought he might just do better if the Brits got behind him rather than give him continual stick.
  15. Bridger did well in th run off last season at Prague and did better than Barker. Cant remember the points tally for each rider. Cook will struggle at KL.
  16. yet another pointless thread about a commentator being poor. Just press the mute button as not everyone can please everyone all the time.
  17. He is an Aussie through & through. No chance he would ride against his own country.
  18. We'll have to agree to disagree. You certainly have a way with patronising words. The video tapes clearly show Pedersen on the wrong end of two bad moves from Tai & Lindgren. It's not just Pedersen who rides hard and/or too hard at times. Pedersen is no angel but plenty do the same as him.
  19. so what ? The tape shows Pedersen being knocked off by two different riders. That's the point being made.
  20. Dear Mr Perfect. Thanks for talking down to me. I do understand what was involved and gave an opinion. The majority of the other riders in the GP do the same moves at Pedersen did here. It was nowhere near as bad as some think including you. My view is that the after reaction from Zagar, and then Pedersen, made it a bigger story than it deserved. As an example see this video. If Pedersen had been in blue, took out the rider in white (as the video shows) he would have been heavily criticised. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0dTVE1lqEM This one shows Lindgren doing exactly the same move on Pedersen as he did on Zagar. No big fuss then was there. Hancock was just s hrd on Pedersen in a recent GP. All riders do it to each other in a GP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pt7vxUOgsus
  21. Having watched the slow motion replay I'm not sure Nicki Pedersen did too much wrong. He was in front of Zagar going into the bend. I've seen a lot worse from many GP riders.
