Bunyan being picked is a not funny joke. Track reserves should at least be able to be competitive in the 5 heat races. This is the World Championship not a benefit meeting for long service.

I think it's good he brings someone in but am disappionted that a rider who has been riding for so long hasn't done something about his area of percieved weakness sooner. If Morris is doing all this research on his behalf it leads me to think he's not done much himself in the past. Its not about winning Gps but about making yourself the best you can as quick as you can. I hope he does well but could this have been done sooner.

Incredible to read that Phil Morris is doing 'extensive study and research on the top gaters in the world" so that Chris Harris can learn and improve on his technique. How old is Harris now ? Maybe 30. With easy access to DVD of riders past and present why hasn't he done this himself ? It's not as if speedway is 12 months a year grind. He has all winter to test and improve in specific areas..

Perhaps they need to look at the scoring system. A win is currently worth less than combined 2nd and 3rd. Pairs are happy to sit 2nd and 3rd so there is no desire to win. What would forum members suggest to make it more exciting.

Fair enough. If the riders can increase an income package then good luck to them. I happen to think having last seasons 1-8 numbered as such for the following season is clear for the viewing public. You can easily see who have progressed and regressed in the ladder.

If when Zagar pulled out of the GP Challenge, which I think was made public midweek before a Saturday meeting, any rider who felt they should be next in line to ride could have made themselves available. Riders can control their own fate. Not 100% sure but I think it depends on the GP bosses saying he can't do the Euro Championships as well. If they bar him from the Euro's he's said he'll pull out the GP series to race in the Euro's only. Good to see the authorities working in unison - not !

Bomber has done nothing wrong, he had accepted what he was offered and benfitted. Others had the chance but didn't accept. Get behind the Brit. What we have to remember in a very strong field of 15 is that someone has to come first and last. Riders who finish 9th downwards are very talented riders but its tough in the GP's.

Bomber has got his place legitimately at the GP Challenge. He's had some luck with Gollob pulling out but that is all. Get behind him now.

If your only going for two night then go to a GP thats not too far from an airport.

Is that how Sweden do it ?
