  1. Pretty decent guests tbf, not surprised they have used riders from the previous Glasgow home meeting!
  2. H9 good race too especially considering there wasn't any passing though Sam Masters got pretty close to doing it a few times!
  3. In case anyone who wasn't there or didn't see the stream h14 for you..
  4. He says he's as well as can be expected. Sounds like he really got away with it tonight. Was a nasty looking crash, he very lucky I think that he appeared to come unscathed.
  5. Don't think he's 40 as I'm not that yet and I think I am slightly older! Maybe 38/39?
  6. Yes, that is true! At least he had today off I suppose! I think Peterborough are riding tomorrow? So be interesting to see how he does! Must be difficult to say no to a guest booking though as extra money coming in. I did joke the other day about him being burnt out by July but might be a real possibility!
  7. The track did look good and well prepared BUT a bit dry and slight dusty to me? Can they not dampen it during the track grades, or do the riders not like that? Firstly, well done to Jason Edwards, really good night from him. He definitely kept Edinburgh in it til the end. Good to see a young Brit have a good night. What a race H9 was, no passing but for Ben Cook to keep Sam Masters behind him for 4 laps, should get paid double for that! lol. H14 going from 3rd to first in space of bends 3 and 4 was so good, Nij the announcer said 'does he think he's Bomber Harris' !! Lol. H15 - Edinbugh could nearly have pulled off that 5-1, at one point on first lap Pickering looked like he was going to go through the middle of Worrall and Lawson but they managed to keep the door shut. Oh and Paco Castagna, I've never seen one rider been gifted so many points in my life before!! Edit- gutted for Nathan Ablitt nearly beat Edwards for a full 4 laps just locked up a tiny bit on last bend and Jason sneaked though. But you can definitely tell Nathan is improving every week.
  8. Blimey!! Though you prob wouldn't have Jack Holder if we stayed in the top league
  9. I think it would be okay, not as if the case is ongoing.
  10. It reminds me of the Poole vs Coventry rivalry a little bit. I agree with what you say apart from the last 7 words!
  11. What news? And do I really want to know?
  12. https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2022-05-31/monarchs-promotion-furious-as-polish-speedway-causes-koc-chaos?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Seeing as the article says they are furious I guess they had not written it off! But kinda been made to? Depends what guests they can have I suppose!
  13. I know last season their team was a bit stronger but we went 14 points up half way through, they used a TS about H9 I think, maxed it and then only lost by 6! So I am prepared for it! lol. They definitely good at getting a 5-1 in H15 when needed! Anyway back to Plymouth before I get told off by Plymouth fans for hijacking the thread! lol
  14. There's been a draw in the Championship, can't get much closer than that! lol
  15. See Hans and Harris struggled a bit for Plymouth tonight, so interesting to see how they score here!
  16. Noted! And they ran Glasgow close in their away meeting there. So definitely no pushovers!
  17. But he still but the club up for sale before Dan took over the day to day running, so if a sale went though they would have been there!
  18. Wasn't expecting it to be that close! Well done Edinburgh.
  19. What are the 'weird' stories you have heard though? I wonder how many of them are true??
  20. Dear lord!! Do you hear yourself? He actually put the club up for sale, so yes everyone had a fair chance!
