  1. Just an alternative if needed! Or maybe Tuesday if Sweden is finishing up. As Kent and Plymouth ride Tuesday and assuming Kent aren't making the playoffs now, might still be possible though. Weds, Fri, and Saturdays will be used by Champ playoffs. Unless the prem really need to use a Weds and Poole possibly could do a Sunday instead?
  2. If Stefan can get back in time that would be amazing! Keep my fingers crossed. But you make a very good point, I wouldn't have predicted a loss of 24 points at Scunny before the meeting started! I'm sure we will be better on a wet track when the playoffs are on the line.
  3. Should be okay, although no one in the team can afford to have a bad night!
  4. @Skidder1 can correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember a 30% decrease being banded around. It was the main reason Poole moved down along with the Weds night race nights. Although I guess it depends on what sort of pay riders like Stevie Worrall and Danny King are on too.
  5. Yes and Redcar's last home meeting too! Leicester on form at the moment, I'd say they are more likely to win at Redcar. I think Glasgow would beat them at home but will be very close!
  6. Poole moved down because they would save quite a bit of money though so there must be quite a difference financially.
  7. Or Lynn could get what they want in regards to rule changes if it keeps them in the prem! If any teams want to move down and no one willing to move up then they will seriously have to consider one league. I guess if Swindon run next year and put it up to 7 and then one more team move up like Plymouth or Kent then 8, which looks a bit healthier.
  8. Then who gets Richard Lawson if just Plymouth move up and KL stay? I'm sure I read somewhere before all the lockdowns started that they weren't allowing anymore teams from the prem to move into the champ. Even with teams swapping I'm not sure they would allow it as definitely need more than 6 teams in a league!
  9. Yes, looks like you are right. If points difference is still used when deciding who is above who when level on points? It could be on points scored? However if it is points difference then Glasgow currently on +88 and Poole are +192.
  10. He almost messed it up for Glasgow. So race for top 2 between Poole, Glasgow and Redcar is still on!
  11. Surprised Broc is struggling, thought he'd be okay there. Not surprised the pole is struggling though!
  12. Do Glasgow need the 4 league points tonight to potentially finish in top 2 of the table or is 3 enough?
  13. But you weren't talking just about last night. You said about them being rubbish at other tracks which obviously is nowhere near the truth and is what I was replying to, considering Redcar fans raved about Basso when we were there and also Cook at Glasgow, those have been their stand out tracks for each of them. Also Hume was good at Edinburgh. All tracks that will be in the playoffs too, so that helps. Excuse me but if you are top of the league then you must be quite good! Sorry if you don't like it but not really my problem.
  14. The only advantage for being top is choosing what team to face in the SF's. But what if you choose the wrong one!
  15. LMAO!! That's hilarious. Oooh 87-87 on agg, so Scunthorpe just as bad as us lol
  16. It should be close I think. Redcar stronger now with Lewis Kerr. All of their top 5 have had quite a few meetings at Poole with other teams when we were in the prem. Jordan Jenkins also had one meeting at Poole in 2019 i think and had a few practices there, so only Ryan Kinsley who would be their first time.
  17. Have to win at Poole and beat Leicester though. Or win at Poole by 7 and draw at home to Leicester (but that would be down to points difference?) Not going to be easy! As long as we can hold on to top 2, that's enough for me.
  18. Interesting. Do Wolves really want to give Sheffield's weakest 1-5 rider extra practice before the playoffs If Wolves went with r/r, could everyone be eligiable for a ride?
  19. Ian Rankin on Twitter: "Who doesn’t love the glamour of speedway? Edinburgh Monarchs about to take on the might of Birmingham!! https://t.co/4L2iCN0q1M" / Twitter Where I saw it and also in the comments, Richard Osman is 'always up for speedway' ! Who knew lol.
  20. Yes they prob wanted to stay safe so didn't race. I don't think any Poole fan is disputing that. However what makes me laugh is one scunny fan saying spits and spots before the meeting and one saying a downpour. There is quite a big difference between the two!!
