Interesting. Do Wolves really want to give Sheffield's weakest 1-5 rider extra practice before the playoffs If Wolves went with r/r, could everyone be eligiable for a ride?

Ian Rankin on Twitter: "Who doesn’t love the glamour of speedway? Edinburgh Monarchs about to take on the might of Birmingham!! https://t.co/4L2iCN0q1M" / Twitter Where I saw it and also in the comments, Richard Osman is 'always up for speedway' ! Who knew lol. -
Think you've hit the nail on the head there!
-
Yes they prob wanted to stay safe so didn't race. I don't think any Poole fan is disputing that. However what makes me laugh is one scunny fan saying spits and spots before the meeting and one saying a downpour. There is quite a big difference between the two!!
-
Only thing I would say is it wasn't a 'must win' for Poole, someone has said Poole riders complained about the track. So they obv didn't feel safe on it. With playoffs coming up in both leagues they are not going to risk it. Esp when Stef's injury fresh in their minds.

This was already a restaging, I guess they are worried about not doing it before the cut off. No one got hurt, that is the main thing.

I hear Edinburgh had a famous fan in the crowd tonight! -
Your point you made. But I'm not surprised you don't know what it is! Lol
-
Yes I'm sure the Brum meeting would have been fresh in their minds if it was as wet as you say. If one of them picked up an injury, it wouldn't just affect us, could affect Wolves, BV or Sheffield as well.
-
Not really. I just disproved your point. But if you mean your original point was irrelevant, then yes I agree.
-
Haha. Yeah, because you know we have beaten most teams over two legs. Doesn't mean we will in the playoffs, but will give the riders confidence.
-
I'd expect Glasgow to win but I have learnt this season not to underestimate Berwick!
-
Okay TP. Go through the fixture list and see who we haven't beaten over 2 legs. I'd say it's looking okay. Glasgow and Leicester main threats imo.
-
Ha, yeah. Quicker than Ussain Bolt on here when we lose! Lol. Scunthorpe were just the much better team tonight. Need to beat Redcar on 22nd now to make sure we stay top 2.
-
You mean you missed an actual legitimate reason! I can believe it
-
Why? Nothing was reported to be wrong with it. Sometimes you just beaten by the better team. With the two Ben's first time there, was gonna be tough especially if they didn't take a liking to it. Gilkes seemed to do alright, just not meant to be tonight.
-
I am easily confused! I thought it was already done haha. Anyway point is Sunday is being used whatever the week!!
-
Teams confirmed on speedway updates and they have Douglas down as a guest, so I'm guessing it's okay. How's the track looking?
-
Be close! Might miss the parade and stroll up for H1.
-
It has been agreed, mon and thurs for the prem!! Although Sheffield rode on a Sunday the other day so that's an alternative.
-
Yeah it was orginally in the post of Poole twitter acc where they said it is r/r in the comments Matt said it is Ryan Douglas, maybe cos a few fans were asking if we could get a guest with Redcar meeting being off.

Yes, one point each will help out Poole's cause for the top 2 -
Tell him to update SM then! Edit - you have to read through the comments, which I never do! lol
-
Nothing on the Poole twitter, still says r/r. Nothing on Ryan's either.
