Plymouth Gladiators 2024

He would start at No1 though -
Yeah, good point. Just looking at first couple of meetings will be against Oxford and Plymouth in the BSN trophy, I am assuming. So would be tough having Sam or Scott in 2 races on debut potentially. Haven't checked who has higher average out of them two. But again I can see why they would want to keep Ben and Zach partnership together. I suppose try one riding order and if it doesn't work as hoped can always swap it around.

Assuming figures on confirmed signings thread is correct and with Hook being a 4 and Newman 5.51. There would be 10.75 left! -
I get why people want to keep the Ben and Zach partnership going. But there are going to be 4 riders who never rode for Poole before next season. So I think for at least first month of the season, Ben should be at 5 whilst others settle in. Not my decision though!

About time! As I assume the BSN trophy will still be regionalised.

Looking at averages his is below BB's. Sedgman is above though. Also Josh Pickering, but might be too high? -
I think Oxford and Redcar will get off to strong starts as they don't have many changes. But barring any injuries we should just improve as the season goes on imo.
-
Tbf he did get a few paid wins. And when he guested for Poole last season he would have won H2 if Rowe didn't try and race him for it!
-
If anyone missed the Instagram live the other night and wants to watch it. @Arthur54
-
Haha. As long as he does the first home meeting, be fine
-
And if he does we can just have a guest lol.

Batch's average is lower than Barker's though? -
But tbf press releases never say if they are on loan or been bought as an asset anymore. I assume he is on loan otherwise they would have made a big thing of being an asset last night? Although if our future is in any doubt then no point buying anyone for the time being imo.

If you want to read into absolutely anything esp on the socials then Michael West and Jacob Hook have 'liked' some of the Poole announcements so far this winter (Hook liking the Ben Cook announcement and Tom's last night) Might mean something, might mean absolutely nothing
-
If it doesn't won't be far off imo. Have to remember how much weaker the league is going to be next season. We seem to have the same discussion but with different riders each season FB! Brady Kurtz, Rory Schlein, Steve Worrall. Can't remember if you were one of the Poole fans unsure of Lawson coming in 2022 or not lol. Maybe I am just overly optimistic. But Rickardsson only scored 6 as an away rider before signing for Poole. So I'll wait til at least May before I start worrying about the team
-
Equipment wise he is having 8 bikes, so 2 in each league. Back in the day Bjarne Pedersen did 4 leagues at GPs! So it is doable just have to be very prepared and organised.
-
Oh good. I do love a shock signing Which no one has really had yet as everyone seems to be rumoured way in advance!
-
Both Tom and Leon slightly out of their comfort zone next season, so will be interesting to see how they do.
-
Different when you are riding it every week though. Give him a few weeks at beginning of season to settle in and be fine. I remember fans being worried about Lawson at beginning of 2022 lol.

Speaking about the move himself, Brennan added: "I was puzzled at the end of last season when I heard stories that I wouldn't be returning to the Championship. “I don't know how or where those rumours began but once it struck me that I had not received any offers for 2024 I decided to take matters into my own hands and dropped an email to the owner of the one club I really wanted to race for. “Matt (Ford) responded to the enquiry and said let's make it happen and so here I am, ready to ride for the Pirates and the challenges that will bring.” www.bournemouthecho.co.uk

Ah, okay. Thanks. Be interesting to see who they put at 3.
