  1. Just a Charles Wright fan I knew Ben Cook would do well, always been very good at Redcar but wasn't expecting top 3. Although if Ben did win there would be a fight for the number 12 race bib next year as that was the number Sam Masters had last season. Hope Richard is okay, see if he rides at BV tomorrow but prob a doubt for Weds.
  2. Carbs are fine if you have correct portion size. I am not sure excluding a whole food group is the way to go imo. But no harm in reducing it. Calorie counting is good to get right meal sizes to begin with but easy to get obsessed with it, so people need to be careful with it. Sure Keto is good if you can keep it up but carbs are everywhere and very tempting. Also good for energy as didn't football players used to have pasta before a match until they moved on to having baby food!
  3. No wonder you couldn't get the Pole signed, not even at Peterborough anymore!
  4. Ah well, if we don't make it to playoff final we will have a spare week to stage it
  5. Okay, so as Poole was used as the example. Poole fans have never experienced any playoffs that was a mini group. Always been top 4 in Prem as far as I can remember. Idk! Any of us can finish top or last, hard to call it! Redcar helped by Jason Edwards getting RS spot in the Prem, should improve his form with more meetings.
  6. Kinda confusing, Edinburgh saying Kye is in and Josh Pickering now riding in Poland. So I thought one is just replacing the other. But can't see either in this line up.
  7. Yes lol. Although the crowd levels will be better for those meetings rather than against Scunny or Edinburgh/Brum. So if I was the accountant or Bank Manager I would welcome the group of death ha.
  8. If it makes you feel any better, it is not sunny atm and has definitely been raining!
  9. And which of the previous playoffs did they have mini-groups and not straight KO?
  10. Just an edited version on Steve's post! Would have to be Workington then as most of the top riders would ride regularly on Prem tracks
  11. https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2023-08-26/double-header-falls-foul-to-weather?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter At least the Edinburgh management are trying to put both meetings in before the cut off.
  12. Sure KL were at one point but prob changed now as didn't stop teams finishing after cut off so not much point.
  13. You wish, that way it might make it past a page!
  14. Bore off Lewy I can post wherever I want. Otherwise I will post on every page on any Plymouth thread.
  15. Definitely stirring! Him or Lewy are not trustworthy!!
  16. But who? Us or Brum? Or triple header and just do 10 heats each? Would still end up being 30. Ah ok. I was just going on KL bring fined for doing normal league meetings after playoffs had started but this prob 8-12 years ago so prob changed!
  17. Guess we will just have to make do with the group of death then! Can't see how they are going to fit it in. Although teams still get fined don't they for missing cut off? Although considering what happened in the first staging maybe they will be a bit more lenient.
  18. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gcvmgzchm#?nearestTo=EH48 (United Kingdom)&date=2023-08-25 Can see what they mean down to 50% chance at 8pm.
  19. Yeah I get that. But saw this first and if people want to know what is going on thought it would be worth posting.
  20. Overtaking, close racing and a run - ish to the line. What more could you want
