And being without Simon L for a couple of home matches, which means a guest replacement, makes r/r even more of a hit or miss gamble.

It's fine as a short term. But reserves having to take a minimum of 5/6 rides plus any replacement rides puts a big strain if it goes on for a couple of months.

I think r/r for the number 5 puts far too much pressure/strain/reliance on the reserves if used for more than the occasional meeting. Especially away from home.
