  1. The downside of using riders where you don't have priority. Can't arrange fixtures based on a 3 point reserve's availability.
  2. Quite right Shads - I think I might have been at that Ippo v Rye meeting.
  3. I was actually replying to Super Blue's post above yours but you nebbed in and got in the way!!
  4. Bread slicing machine was invented in the US in 1928. Has there been nothing better than Ricky Wells in the following 87 years?
  5. Anyway on a more balanced note - well done to the Tiggers. Seems to have been a good well balanced team today. Shame that the tapes didn't work properly but hey it happens in the best of places. Hope Max isn't too badly injured and that Sedgy sorts out what was wrong. But to brighten things up ........... ICTFC Twitter...... Official ICTFC ✔ @ICTFCllow Apparently Meekings shouted "I'm in nets" when that ball came at him so it's not a penalty. Don't quote me on that though.
  6. And again you bang on about Cookie. Since you are convinced Sam will be ahead of Cookie in the averages soon how about a tenner that Cookie finishes the season ahead of Sam in the proper averages i.e. including bonus points? Proceeds to the Ben Fund.
  7. Hope he doesn't get the same grief Adam Roynon got even though it wasn't Adam doing the asking.
  8. Was that at turn 2 where I don't think the bouncy castle reaches?
  9. Devils 4 up after 7!! Who would have thought it. Must have bought a few crates of Red Bull!! Needed them after with 4 meetings in 4 days.
  10. Looks like a good competitive meeting for the first 5 heats. Wish I had gone after all - assumed it would be a 65 pointer. First meeting missed.
  11. My point is that it's only 2 losses in a warm up competition and the league hasn't started yet. Peterborough lost their first 2 LC matches at home and have been outstanding since. Wait till Barker is fully fit and banging in the big scores and see how you feel then. There seem to be 2 big differences of opinion in here........ - one wanting the team to win matches and perhaps trophies - the other wanting good racing I seem to remember you lost to Monarchs at home in April last year and then won the next twice against us at home. It can all change very quickly. It could be a lot worse, you could be Plymouth!!
  12. Folk still go to F1 in their big tens of thousands and pay a small fortune to do so. And all they get is follow my leader for sixty odd laps with very little passing apart from against a car that is 10mph slower. . Think folks are being a touch harsh. You have lost to Glasgow and Edinburgh at home in a pre-league competition without having your high scoring number 1 available or fit. Both of those teams are amongst the favourites to be at the top end of the league come the end of the season.
  13. Does seem to be a level of over-reaction. Edit - didn't mean by you Mr. B.!
