What The Visa Issues Could Mean For Teams.
Triple.H. replied to doners1234's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
That's what I was trying to say but if promotors continue to sign riders who don't cut the mustard then it's there own fat. Also maybe a promotor could argue the case for a non eu rider of equal experience but greater potential than that of an under performing EU rider -

Dilger(who to my knowledge I haven't seen ride/race so cannot judge on ability or entertainment value) Isn't the problem it's teams signing EU riders who aren't good enough.Though many more young British riders could follow the example set by Kyle Newman by taking up opportunities to ride here there and everywhere, and now he's reaping the rewards. In this country we have too many young lads happy to be a NL makeweight or PL reserve and until that changes we ain't going to change much. -
Dudek is banned and until that ban ends he doesn't have/need a number. Got a sneaking suspicion Dirty Nicki could be #1 in 2016

Because we're British and used to the worst case scenario always coming out on top

From what I've read on this forum over the years mostly by fans of other teams I thought the only rider with a Rolling average was Craig Cook
-
Lewis has natural talent in abundance in reality what he needs is what he was getting at AE under Jon Cooke a bit of TLC but not in the way they gave it to him, he really needs someone to take him under their wing and guide him, obviously he needs to "sign up for it" to make it happen. As for MH i couldnt possibly say what i think about him and his brother on a forum
-
In the old days he could've used the track spare
-
But he wasn't a rider when he went on these holidays he had retired/taken a break from the sport. Maybe the break made him realise he wanted to ride again.
-
Had more farewells than Frank Sinatra and Status Quo combined.Though if he's up for it, and happy he'll be a very decent signing.
-
But in GB, no doubt there's a ruling that a guest rider can be banned instead of the alleged guilty rider. Maybe that's why there's so many names on the asset lists

Greg Hancock How Good.?
Triple.H. replied to stratton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Fair to say he dragged the sport into a more professional approach. But with todays no moving/kidology at the tapes a Mauger part of his game plan would be lost. -
Would they be the Poo Pirates

Didn't Tomas Topinka have 3 in around 18 months approx the difference was noticeable in his performances where he went from potential WC to a EL/PL standard rider though still bloody excellent on his day though they didn't come around as often as before. Remember David Tapp saying when he was riding in his Australian series how good and exciting he was. I would agree any rider who suffers a concussion needs clearance by a specialist before they can race again in any league in any country also including World Championship events.

Windy Miller only lives just down the road at Camberwick Green and could be available to guest weather permitting
-
Buffalo Berge goes round the outside round the outside. Lol Hare and him were absolute mint for Oxford so sad that both had career ending crashes.
-
Let's hope they're not Bombers GP bikes
-
Good luck to him To those who choose to mention his personal problems affecting his performance I'd say have you ever gone to work with that personal thing niggling away in the back of your mind ? I know I have on many an occasions it doesn't matter what his job is he's human like the rest of us.

The farce in reality started after the test took place Darcy Ward rode in league/cup matches around UK and Europe for the best part of 2 weeks from memory. As the FIM have to wait for the report from the "event jury" ? To arrive at HQ. In this day and age why did it take so long haven't they heard of the Internet or faxes( does anyone remember faxes) Maybe as a new starting point Britain could lead the way by having a trained/qualified person breathalyse all riders before a meeting starts and all results recorded and archived.
-
No. I repeat. No sensible postsAnyway you cannot have covers unless they are of a homologated design of specialist tarpaulin
-
So if Darcy Ward wins his appeal can he get a work permit to ride over here ? Asking re his escapade in Australia last winter. Would that count against him
-
Exactly where British Speedway has got it wrong for so bloody long Ben shouldve been in the PL about 6 yrs ago and sunk or swum. instead too many PL promotions signed similar standard foreign riders. most of whom never really amounted to much.
-
I'll say one thing Brummie Fans we at Oxford were very lucky to have 3rd tier teams all of them entertaining probably more so than the Senior teams. Support your team you don't need the best riders to have the best entertainment.

Very early on in this farce long before Brian Rix had undone his belt never mind dropped his trousers I said the very same thing. I also mentioned that in the post cancellation chaos certain procedures may have been done incorrectly . Most posters who responded seemed to think I was a crackpot. Maybe I am,but maybe I'm right
