  1. Sad state of affairs when a local fan is already disillusioned. TBH i follow my teams in Football and Speedway through thick and thin, it's been mostly thin for both. But someone on the promotion should be speaking to you to try and resolve the issues. You might be full of good ideas to change them, it'll be a first for the BSPL but if after 5 matches only one of which was at home, you're fed up then they need to listen
  2. I know it would be a bit of a faff but couldn't NKI use the train, its a couple of hours from Brussels to St Pancras, walk to Euston approx 10 minutes, train to Northampton takes just over an hour. Get him a railcard to save some money.
  3. Simplest team change in the League is Retain Kyle Newman and drop Fraser Bowes. With Newman you know that you get 100% every race, I'm not even a Poole fan and i'm advising them on how to strengthen an already decent team.
  4. Maybe there's a nearby track with availability on Mondays and Thursdays.
  5. Everyone moans Speedway ain't like it was in the glory years, a few presenters try and fire up the atmosphere and get slagged off for it. TBH I'd be disappointed if the presenter wasn't biased towards the home team. I remember going to the 4TT at Peterborough and Roy Clark was presenting, I thought he did a great job winding uo supporters of just about every team, a week later all I read was moaning.
  6. Top Top entertainer was Derek Superted Harrison
  7. Im No logistics expert and not got a clue if they want to sign Drew Kemp but I bet its easier to get to Latvia or Poland from Scunthorpe on a friday night than Berwick or Workington on a saturday
  8. vs Poole or Scunthorpe in the KOC, maybe if that meeting cannot go ahead then it could be the meeting vs Berwick which was due to take place last week. Best Guess
  9. CAR PARKING UPDATE Oxford Speedway Promoter Jamie Courtney has issued the following statement: “I was made aware of issues with parking at Unipart last week and have been working to resolve the situation ahead of Wednesday nights fixture against Plymouth “Despite positive conversations between ourselves and Unipart, there remain a couple of issues to resolve and so I am not in a position to confirm that a deal has been reached for the rest of the season “If you have booked for a place at Unipart this will be honoured and I will continue discussions in the expectation that the situation can be resolved ahead of our next fixture on May 6th “For those who have not booked a place at Unipart there will be limited parking at the Stadium made available on a first come first served basis “I appreciate how frustrating this situation is for our loyal fans and I can assure you that I am doing everything in my power to resolve the situation to everyone’s satisfaction”

  11. Some parts are permit only but they tend to be closer to the football stadium.
  12. The issue is currently being worked on and the club will make an announcement with all the relevant information as soon as everything is confirmed. Taken from a message on OSSC chat
  13. I reckon it will be announced when the new APP is available in so many ways that even a referre couldn't miss it.
  14. I'm fairly sure that it says on the website and numerous Social Media posts that upgrades are coming in may to allow direct viewing on Smart TVs. Also lost of advice re using phones, laptops, firesticks etc
  15. You could do Oxford with relative ease, trains more or less to and from Marylebone, journey approx 80 mins and Paddington journey approx 55 mins. Trains run every 15 minutes give or take a minute or two. Trains to London run till 23:15 - 23:30. Get a 1 or 5 bus from outside the station which will take you to a stop, Longlands Rd which is about a 5 minute walk to the stadium. Buses run every 5-10 minutes. NDL meeting on sunday 26th April Chargers vs Middlesborough 3pm start, weather etc permitting, so you could see how easy the journey is with a lot more leeway for getting back to London.
  16. You might need to pit some dirt down now we've perfected gate and go and sticking to the blue groove. You might catch us out. But I doubt it.
  17. Some Swindon born twit posted that its pouring down all afternoon in Oxford !!
  18. Yes. Its good. Generally Lee Kilby on commentary and Laura Pollard doing the interviews.
  19. It's on till it's off. The forecast might be wrong, the rain might not hit the stadium.
  20. I honestly don't see the point in naming a rider, CW who is out injured and says he won't be fit for a good while yet. Plus Adam Ellis, will he have recovered by may 1st ?
  21. Maybe they've moved slightly, an empty stadium costs them money, a lease on the stadium brings money in.
  22. They also have to get planning permission which will take an age even if it is successful. Maybe they think some income from the site as opposed to none is better in the meantime.
