  1. Not ideal, but with planning theres more or less a 3 week window from 21st september due to the 2 week international break. Fit the SF and Final in that window, using track covers etc if required, maybe even swap legs around say its BV vs KL forecast is poor at KL so 1st leg moved to BV as its bathed in sunshine.
  2. My suggestion would be to contact them directly and see if they could/would consider offering a single 28day or month long purchase. But what would happen say for instance if you chose May as your pick and its a much wetter than normal month so 1/3 of fixtures BSN were streaming were rained off. Is that tough on you,or do they allow you to view the PP fixtures as and when later in the season ?
  3. The monthly contract is for the full season its just spreading the cost over 7 payments for a small uplift instead of paying the one off price. That's how i read it
  4. Be careful Don't want you spilling the contents of your half empty glass. Speedway fans never stop astounding me, they all want the sport to be massive but there are so many who are always bloody negative. On Facebook the BSN post says details and prices of packages will be available by the end of February, first reply is how much will it cost !!!
  5. Dependent on location it would make sense, If for example Edinburgh, Glasgow and Workington ran training/practice sessions then working together would make sense so dates didnt clash. Berwick, Buxton and Plymouth i daresay could all run on the same day
  6. Oxford have had a Whatsapp channel for the best part of a year now, probably longer.
  7. I had the crazy daft idea that the home team would cover the points and travel money at whatever the base rates are supposed to be for the greater good of the sport. I apologise for being delusional and probably won't post for a while as the padding on the cell interior blocks the signal.
  8. Every track not running an NDL team should have to run a couple of 16 rider individual meetings. Not in march/April or late September/October. If teams running NDL want to run an individual meeting or a challenge match or two against select teams representing the likes of IOW, Kent and Mildenhall. Even thought they would be away meetings only for the 3 clubs mentioned, if they wanted to do them of course. Or 2H 2A in NDL and have the B meetings with a slightly different format say 13 heats and a few reserve races plus a rider of the night competition
  9. Blimey the lad isn't even in the country and he's being criticised, give him a break. Many years ago there was a couple of young lads from New Zealand who spent a lot of time hitting the deck or the fence, remember some other riders wanted them banned. Briggs and Mauger were their names, i often wonder how their careers panned out.
  10. TBH they should run one every year to give more young Aussies the opportunity to get visas.
  11. As i see it the big difference is the position of the Councils, both saying more or less the same that the Stadium is very important to the town as are the teams, but Poole council know how much publicity the Pirates bring in is good for the town.
  12. I know it moves about, and why does it have to be a date, why not a day ? The next few years it's late March to mid April, so why not try it, not for 1 season but for 3 or 4 to see if it changes anything, if it doesn't then try something else. Just about every fan moans because theyre stood around in the cold, 2/3 week gaps between meetings in the height of summer and the season dragging on too long.
  13. Why not have a ruling that Good Friday is the start of the season which would lose a couple of potentially wet or chilly meetings at the start of the season. Riders missing due to various World and European Championship meetings can only have a guest replacement for the day of that meeting. Otherwise you run with RR or an NDL level rider who doesn't ride for any other team. Riders who are fit enough to ride abroad but not here, such as Ben Cook this year only RR or NDL guest.

  15. They won away at Swindon in the first part of a double header i remember Bobby Schwartz shaking the hand of Einar Kyllingstad to congratulate him on his 15pt maximum. It was a poor afternoon for Swindon as they got tonked by Oxford in the following match.
  16. Since the new main stand was built at Oxford the noise seems to be forced away from the housing and along the railway line and bypass
  17. Will the last singing signing be an up and coming youngster like Benson Boone or a wily old campaigner like Barry Manilow
  18. Surely he hasn't ridden in Britain since 2020, that's when he joined a team from the Republic of Mancunia ! who, being in a speedway outpost are allowed under International law to affiliate themselves with the ACU
  19. But being an intelligent young lad, unlike some supporters, he will learn and grow from the experience no matter if he struggles or thrives. When i read posts like yours it makes it so easy to see why so many young British riders quit so early.
  20. As far as i'm aware you cannot sign a contract until you're 16 Statement of intent to sign is probably not dissimilar to a verbal contract.
