Does he live in the UK ? What if his visa says to live here, he has to work here ? Being ill or injured are valid reasons for not working here, but you're either fit enough to race or unfit to race. Maybe whoever sponsors his visa should be notifying the relevant authorities he's in breach of his visa.

Workington v Poole Sat 12th July 6pm start

So much for the Poole fans, especially one, saying all season that Cairns won't be under any pressure -
Oxford v Ipswich Monday 7th July live on TV
Triple.H. replied to racers and royals's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If Workington riders aren't allowed to ride as a guest for any other team it shouldve been made clear on 27th June when the Workington situation came to light. Tate Zischke can ride for Belle Vue as he is contracted to ride for them and they sorted his visa out. -
Belle Vue v Birmingham Monday 7th July PL2

Might be because they dropped him earlier in the season so the visa transferred to Workington ? -

Maybe if it's true that Workington riders aren't allowed to guest, a bizarre rule in a sport full of them IMO. Ipswich redeclare with Vinnie Foord in the team so they can use him as he's then an Ipswich rider. Then someone realises he has an NDT meeting on the same day too. Or maybe he cannot sign for another team until the Workington situation is resolved. -
Running meetings other than BSPL controlled speedway ? Isn't that not allowed unless it's only at certain tracks Much Love Nora

You may think it's derogatory, but in the many years of following the sport i've seen it happen many a time. Sometimes the truth hurts

A guarantee may put Australians at an advantage, but generally they do turn up, tend to be quick learners and good racers. The problem with a lot of young Brits is they think they're the biggest thing since powdered milk once they have the sign written van and a bit of eye candy on their arm.

I think that's a good idea, pay them based on their average for 28days or less if they find Another club in time. Definitely should be implemented for those riders used as the make weight in a 2 rider change.

But maybe as people are speculating about Plymouth having 8ish points to play with to strengthen. People are also best guessing and speculating about Workington. Worst case scenario for Workington and the Sport in the UK, is Workington close. If that happens if my maths is correct that would mean seven riders looking for employment. Some of whom could possibly strengthen Plymouth if fixtures etc fitted their itinerary. All speculation on my part of course

Maybe there's more to the Workington issue than all the best guessing and speculation.

I agree, but maybe Government agencies don't.

Could it be FB missing UK meetings to ride in Poland and someone has spotted or reported that he,the club or sponsor of his application are in breach of his visa regulations.

Plenty of riders in IOW events and other tracks meetings under the NORA bannerhave also rode at NDL level in fixtures at BSPL tracks with no problem..

Queen Elizabeth Stadium, though the rental costs would be high. But IMO a GP in London would sell well, fantastic transport links, plentiful hotels, if you can't afford Centralish hotels use public transport to travel out of the City. London is a big draw for supporters from around the world. Who would probably make the GP part of a longer holiday to the UK and Europe. Plan it ahead and invite Prince William, he likes motorcycles and lives locally, though I doubt we'd see him on the Jubilee line.

Sad news, I've just read on the Ice Gladiators page on Facebook that Nicolai Krasnikov has died in a car crash.
