  1. Any interest in this one? It sees two Australian World Cup winners in Ryan Douglas and Max Fricke on track. Justin Sedgman guests at reserve for the Lions. Stars line-up as per usual.
  2. There have been plenty of shysters in this sport over the last 100 years, not all of them recent!
  3. It was more than one in the Leicester area, and one was particularly heavy around 12.30. Let's be fair and say we don't know how the track was before that happened as there has been some monster downpours over the past few days and we know the Leicester track doesn't drain as well since the alterations.
  4. I've been told it was OK until "a rogue downpour tipped it past the point if raceable". Must have been pretty waterlogged already if that finishes it off so early.
  5. Not sure about this one, we've had a lot of rain over the past few days and a few heavy showers earlier but I can't believe it was already that waterlogged. I'm a mile and a half away and it’s cloudy but dry.
  6. Shocker of a move from Etheridge, he was never going to turn back from there without ending up on the infield at best.
  7. Hmm, well he must have had a plan, I'm not sure what it was, but he would have known he was taking a gamble. Certainly the star of the evening barring the winner.
  8. Can only assume he wants to get out in the dirt and try and follow Lambert
  9. Brilliant, balls to the wall ride there from Rushen.
  10. Rushen said you don't need maths to go around in a circle, but you do when you've stopped and you're talking about others doing it, so I hope he gets a good grade
  11. Certainly not been a classic meeting unfortunately. Hopefully the semi and final can produce some real cut throat stuff but I can't see anyone bettering Lambert.
  12. Dunno if they do it at the NSS but for the KO Cup Final at Leicester there were air horns and whistles being handed out, definitely added to the atmosphere.
  13. Moderators are like Craig Cook, they don't turn up 😁
  14. Yes. Kemp is such a frustrating rider. He's been a match winner for Leicester a few times and made some great passes, but if it doesn't go well he suddenly looks like a novice.
  15. She seems good. Mind you I thought Abi was as well.
  16. Yes, not quite sure who's running the show but it's not the first sudden duff with cutting away too soon or lingering too long.
  17. That was brilliant commentary then, waffling about GCSE'S and nearly missing Rushen creeping up the inside πŸ˜‚
  18. Would be good to sell the bikes and riders as well. Talk about the fact they run on methanol, clutch starts, no gears or brakes, injuries, danger, excitement.
  19. To be fair the actual show isn't bad bar a few technical duffs. It's the flat atmosphere that's worrying me, the PA should be thumping music out, air horns, clappers, just make it sound good in between the bikes.
  20. I forgot we should just be grateful for whatever we get served. Are you a promoter? You'd be a natural with that attitude.
  21. Racing pics have been fine and presenter is fine. Commentary is so-so as usual, can't say Olly Allen strikes me as a great talker. Would be better getting shots in the pits than focusing on the crowd and the floor though.
  22. I can see why you'd go internally, was maybe an easy sell to ITV because of it, but you'd think it would galvanised them to try and get it simple but solid. Doesn't need to be flashy just competent.
  23. Where are all the air horns and whistles, etc? The pumping music? Anything? Or is it just not mic'd to pick it up?
