Lions vs Tigers 28/05/2026 19:30 PL R1

Who said I was or wasn't a Kemp fan? I think when his head is right he can be really good, as he proved later on in the meeting. It was depressingly predictable, though, that as soon as he got baulked in that race he lost his head. -

If the Kyle had impeded another rider I might agree, but he came off without causing any harm to anyone but himself, I don't see how that nullified any chance of Sheffield riders overhauling Drew. -

Of course, but how often does that realistically happen on the last lap, especially when the riders in front is clear? -

And Flint's move there was naughty. Turning right on the straight. -

How can they re-run ht 14 if they'd started the last lap when the lights came on? -

Yes, that was annoyingly predictable. -

Think Dan Thompson should be riding at 3 or 4 rather than 2. Solid if uninspiring performance from the Lions. -

Brilliant race from Bewley there, he really is great to watch. -

We've almost always been terrible at Belle Vue, even with Fricke in the side. -
He came off during P&P just after Nick Morris did in the same spot

Unless they end up signing a load of riders from abroad it's more likely to be the Northampton Knackers.

You could argue that any successful sport needs to attract people it didn't before. Look at football, they have huge ethnic followings for what in the 60s and 70s was very much a white working class sport.

Kemp completes the Lions line-up.
-
He certainly has experience and can gate. Mind you so can Kemp. If he can get over the pulling up at the back he could still do a job. I guess the question would be who has the most improvement in them?

What do we have left?
-
Howarth confirmed. One rider left.

Only taken 2 years to come out with it, but there is a sort of apology there: Morris said: “I’m really excited to be back with Leicester, it’s a club I have loved racing for. “I feel I owe it to them and all the people who I let down, and everyone who has supported me, to put in a big season there. “I just want to work hard and win races, and being back with Stewart, the man who brought me to the UK when I was 15, I would love nothing more to win a league title for Leicester.”

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams
40-38 replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Given that there's a real danger the current Premiership champions might not come to the tapes next year I think people are right to be impatient. Any business worth its salt would have had a holding statement ready at least by now. -
Oxford Spires 2026 ?

Baffles me that everywhere seems to want something the size of BV when Somerset, Redcar and Scunthorpe sizes produce good racing and would be far easier to squeeze in somewhere. -

Kemp wouldn't be too bad if he stopped the packing up at the back thing. What other experienced reserves are around that are guaranteed to be better? I think the RS position is what's really been the killer for us.

Can you pull out the stats for Max and Sam? Just curious about how many Heat 15's we won away?
-
I presume by Nick you mean old Sniffer Morris?
