  1. Don't worry, one Ipswich rider at least will get some silverware this season 😁
  2. Probably, bit naive as he'd have time to get past later, had more speed.

  4. He tried to go around that bend so far out it was only ever going to end that way. You can't take that bend that wide and not run out of room.
  5. Sorry but Klindt ran out of room there, nothing to do with Fricke.
  6. I think it'll be closer than that, probably 49-41 to Leicester, but either way I'm not counting my chickens yet.

  8. So Sheffield have sniffed out a change with Nick Morris in the hope that they go marching (powder) on for the rest of the season. Or at least until someone asks him to wee into a bottle anyway.
  9. Who else is out there? Can't really think of an improvement.
  10. Get in Lions! Great 4 points for Joe Thompson tonight.
  11. Good team riding from Sam Masters there, especially when the line to be on is so wide.
  12. Same again in heat 4, looked quite quick off the start in both heats

  14. Lawson at no.2 for Leicester will hopefully be an improvement over the R/R scores at BP on Monday. Suspect that Sheffield will be too strong for Leicester overall, guessing 52-38.
  15. Sheffield: Jack Holder, Anders Rowe, Josh Pickering, Lewis Kerr, Chris Holder, Justin Sedgmen, Leon Flint. Leicester: Max Fricke, Richard Lawson, Ryan Douglas, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Joe Thompson. Live on BSN tapes up 7:30pm.
  16. Kemp had his worst meeting for a while but generally has been riding fairly well around BP, but we really are struggling at 7 with Joe Thompson.
  17. I think Pickering was fine but surely you'd swap Kerr for Sedgman too. Kerr had been poor all night whereas at least Sedgman looked competitive.
  18. He started slowly off 15 and had to get past his team mate before he could really make any impression. I thought he'd blown it on the back straight before the final bend. The shout that went up from the crowd was a great thing to behold too.
  19. Seems to be more material on as well over the last couple of meetings.
