  1. Not sure I saw that, but as you say the dust doesn't help making decisions.
  2. No because Rew's bike was what Drew couldn't avoid and caused him to fall.
  3. Disgraceful decision, Rew binned it there. As evidence by the fact he did it again in the rerun!
  4. Can't get enough heat advantages, that's where we lack the power afforded to Ipswich, Sheffield and BV in 13 and 15 and why we're always the bridesmaids when it counts.
  5. Interesting to see that if you complain that the Lions lack teeth on social media the club reps are on you like a ton of bricks. Especially the fans voice, as long as the voice it isn't dissenting of course.
  6. As laughable as the Lions performance? Or is that so bad not even TNT can top it.
  7. Fair point! Would make more sense to have the top two straight through then a single last chance with 1 & 2 joining the top two. Or, and I know this is radical, but the winner is the one with the most points after 20 races.
  8. Great ride from Kubera but 6 points and in the final? It's madness.
  9. https://www.leicesterspeedway.com/News/Details/5769 Full preview from the Lions website here, but the short details are as @tellboy posted above. Sounds like Howarth OK to ride and Joe Thompson is probably the best choice whilst Gilkes is out.
  10. British speedway fans will be having an extra spoonful in their cocoa tonight in celebration instead 😁
  11. It's been a great meeting, but british speedway doesn't half struggle for an atmosphere.
  12. Always get the feeling that Brennan is never quite going to be the rider he promised to be.
  13. Let's be honest there's no other British rider who can yet compete on the world stage in this line up bar the two already in the GP's. There are a couple of riders who may make it in time but as it stands it's just a filler position.
  14. Can I vote for good racing and a good crowd for what should be a showpiece event?
  15. If only BV were of similar mind in the play off final, eh? 😉 Nice to know we won't get a repeat though.
  16. But the super duper NSS can stand all weathers can't it? We know Leicester is like The Poseidon Adventure after a bit of drizzle.
  17. I think that last question is a fair one, I'd be interested to hear an answer but I know we won't get one from the club. The only thing I can think of is Cook pulling out; perhaps they were willing to accept the low scores and building experience but now the situation has changed and Kemp can't replicate the scores Cook could have achieved at times. I'd say that Hagon looked a bit better against BV the other week, although still largely gifted most of his points, but the other day against Ipswich he really did look miles off it, and it's been the latter more often that not in Lions colours.
  18. Ultimately it probably was the right decision, I just hope that he's given the time and backing.
