  1. Well, a referee was given a suspension after a Premiership match a few weeks ago, so draw your own conclusions from that.
  2. Can you explain this please? 2 wins and 2 thirds = 8pts (not consistent) - but 7,8 or 9 points is consistent....
  3. Perhaps I should have put the after it, but at least Crescent "Girl" saw that it was meant in partial jest.
  4. Why is it "crazy"? It's a (pretty large) part of what went on on Saturday night. It's a bit like, if the BSF was thing then, going back to the 90's, talking about the Berwick vs Belle Vue meeting (the one where the Aces failed to show up at Berrington Lough) and just saying that Berwick tracked 2 riders and rode around until they couldn't be caught scorewise! You can't just ignore it.
  5. That's all well and good, but if one of the 1-5 are excluded (sorry, disqualified) for a tapes offence or for failing the two minutes, they have to go off 15metres, otherwise you would still have at least one more race with only three riders in it, as the other reserve would have to have his own 4 programmed rides and has to cover the banned reserves other 3 rides, so couldn't replace the disqualified rider. And God forbid if the other reserve got injured in heat 2 and had to withdraw from the meeting.
  6. You are correct. I got a little confused. BUT..... "Benzoylecgonine can be found in medical products as a topical muscle relaxer, anesthetic or to relieve muscle pain." Taken from https://drugs.ncats.io/drug/5353I8I6YS
  7. Yes, but the other drug found in his system was Benzoylecgonine, which, when taken, produces it's own cocaine through the body. So it does not necessarily follow that Richie took cocaine on it's own.
  8. When did Newcastle "drop" Connor Mountain? He rode throughout the whole of the 2021 season and was given a starting place at his own club the following year, which ruled him out of the Diamonds team. Joe Alcock rode in the first 3 matches and was replaced by Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, who lasted 4 matches and he was then replaced by Archie.
  9. I agree, but who would pay for it? Almost certainly the fans with an extra increase of the admission charge.
  10. I think the cost of that would be prohibitive, though.
  11. Let's hope (IF it's off), it's postponed, rather than cancelled......
  12. Some on here have been saying for quite a while now that Promoters should be Promoting the sport. Workington bring in a female rider and are accused of it being a PR stunt. They just can't win, can they?
  13. Very interesting points that you bring up here..... but I believe it's the wrong thread!!
  14. As far as some fans are concerned, this is the serious stuff!!!! !!
  15. Trigger is part of Redcar's 1-7, so would be ineligable, surely?
  16. "Interesting" that they've put Celina L at number 7. Sam might struggle at 6 against the "better" reserves, but we'll see. Fascinating season ahead across on the West coast. Hope I can get across there at some point during the season.
  17. But, was he not couriering them, rather than taking them?
  18. Copied and pasted from the BSPL Riders Index info page: Son of Martin Peter Hagon (born: 25 December 1961, Hackney, London, England); Grandson of Alfred Joseph Hagon.
  19. What do you want them to do? If they haven't signed anyone, they haven't signed anyone. The rider has to be right for Workington, that's financially (I guess that's the main one), points wise, availability and the right "fit" for the team.
