I could end up with 'egg on my face' by saying this, but I think we are going to Scunthorpe at the right time, as they are still trying to gel and are struggling a little bit. I think we could well come away with something, although what that might be is anyone's guess!!

Is Mark making a comeback??? Looking forward to my usual visit to 'Sunny Scunny' and hopeful we can at least run them close, if not sneak an away victory.

They've put sheets down on the track, so hopefully that will help the cause.

Looked like a decent crowd last night. Track was poor though. Quite why they graded the dirt where nobody was going and watered that bit and left the inside line (rather than at least drag the dirt onto the inside line where the dirt was originally) baffles me, but hey ho.

I think the Top 5 are pretty evenly matched (I know Robbo is likely to be out!!), so a lot could depend on the reserves.

Yes. 23rd is also the Newcastle Press & Practice day, but, as like last season, the other Northern clubs (Berwick, Redcar and Worky) will also be in attendance, but they will also host their own clubs P&P's at their respective tracks too.
