  1. First of all I can't find my original post, but If I remember correctly I did say maybe (and I underlined it) as a possible (and I think I underlined that too) cause for lack of fixtures. I don't think I said it was the reason, just my take on it. Seems I was wrong. Humble pie being eaten. Secondly, if there is a lack of fixtures, why did the promotion agree to the fixtures at the start of the season? Surely you can't agree with something and then be unhappy with it later? Thirdly, if I did come across as 'patronising' then, sorry, that wasn't the intention. Just trying to throw a possible reason into the mix.
  2. And I will continue to do so, when I believe they are right, so get used to it.
  3. Richard Lawson's tweet was made long after the meeting had finished.
  4. Except when there is an FIM meeting on? The Dick Barrie 'tape' was on well before 6.45pm on the night of the original staging of the GP Qual. There appears to be a bit of confusion to what actually happened last night. Hopefully someone will tell us all the facts soon.
  5. It should, yes, I'd agree, but the way this season has gone so far, I wouldn't take anything for granted!
  6. We could have, but I'm guessing George will have already switched R/R to number 2, which, if we went with guest at 2 and R/R at 3 for Robbo, putting Lewis R into heat 14 with a reserve (or not giving Lewis R an R/R ride), which could make us a bit weaker in that race (in my humble opinion, of course).
  7. Not condescending at all (and quite how it's "a typical response" I don't know). A genuine question. Pablo thinks it's a poor choice, but gives no alternative. Looks like the Update site has spotted their error and now have R/R for Lewi K.
  8. Not condescending at all. Genuine question. Pablo thinks it's a poor choice, but doesn't give an alternative.
  9. Simon Lambert guests at reserve for the Diamonds (info courtesy of the Sheffield Tigers website).
  10. Theoreticaly the 'red card' is already available to referees. It has been implemented in the past (not very often, though).
  11. I hope so, as he guested for us last week!!
  12. I'd welcome Simon Nielsen to Brough, if Schrammy is going to be out for a while and Nielsen was to be released by Sheffield.
  13. I could be wrong (I'm sure someone will correct me if I am), but I think the rule was brought in after Simon Green flipped doing a practice start at Newcastle during the Parade lap and had to withdraw from the meeting due to head injury.
  14. I made that comment before knowing the extent of the injuries (as DIAMONDS did). And his girlfriend has since put on Facebook it might be that Lewi "is back earlier than we thought."
  15. Quote (Taylorj) Mmmm. Newcastle is slightly bigger than Workington And? The question was asked if there was only one ambulance and one doctor at Newcastle on Sunday night. I was just pointing out that there was two ambulances and three docs. And anyway.... size isn't everything!
  16. Do you not think it a good idea to wait to see how long, potentailly, Lewi is out for? Might only be a week or two.
  17. Two ambulances (as is standard at Newcastle) and three doctors, actually. Delay was whilst Lewi was treated on track.
  18. Correct. It was last Sundays weather. I'll let Tsunami explain, as he knows more about it than I do and is probably better explaining these things. You just have to have the dig don't you? You can't just congratulate him and leave it at that, can you?
  19. Might have something to do with a certain footy competition being held in Brazil?
  20. Newcastle race Berwick and Edinburgh twice H & A.
  21. Sorry. I should have highlighted the bit in your post which said about a 4 heat match was proposed, but rejected.
