  1. And, yet, Berwick decided to have (expensive) Double Headers !!
  2. Which is why, in my opinion, you shouldn't be allowed to have owners/Promoters involved at two (or more!) separate teams who race in the same league.
  3. Depends where you are travelling from.....
  4. Paulco is old enough to remember the 60's TV series (and so am I !!) !!
  5. Yeah. They (Redcar) have replaced him with Luke Harrison (short term).
  6. Aye, I misread the question! Thought he/she was asking about a short term replacement! My bad.
  7. Already signed for Redcar as short-term replacement for Mulford
  8. Because they were going to host the second leg originally and, IMO, it should be that way (both teams might agree to a switch, which would be fine, but they both agreed to the original dates).
  9. Why switch the legs round? Scunny should have the 1st leg and Redcar the 2nd leg, as it was originally going to be?
  10. Leicester website says (in the report of Batchelor signing as Nick Morris's replacement: "Morris failed to comply with the Alcohol and Doping testing procedure when randomly selected prior to Wednesday’s fixture between Birmingham and Glasgow, and he will be summoned to attend an SCB Disciplinary Court hearing." This implies (to me, at least) he refused to take the test.
  11. I can't be bothered to trawl through the rulebook (!!), but I'm pretty sure that if a rider who was originally riding in the League above, but becomes available, you can switch back to your rider riding, rather than use a guest.
  12. 'Cos it's Berwick. They like to do things differently !!
  13. Agreed - but there could be legal issues involved, so they may have to be careful what they say ?
  14. Comment from Birmingham CEO Nigel Tolley "We understand the frustration and disappointment of the supporters – we share that right now and we will update everyone on the situation with Nick as and when we can.” Both on BSPL report and Birmingham Speedway website report.
  15. Probably because his name is Matthew WEAR !!
  16. Depends if it's a Challenge or not. If it is then he can ride.
  17. Not in the top 10: The top ten wettest counties in England are (in descending order): Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Northumberland, Durham, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, East Sussex, and Kent.
