He's been named in the Teesside Silver Helmet line up, so can't have burned the bridges too far.

As Newcastle found out to their ultimate cost. Really hope it works out for all at Worky. Used to love going across every Saturday night when I was filming for Bob (GRT Media) and Workington were always my second team (see where I was born for why!). Hopefully I will get across in 2024 to sample the place for myself.

Adam Roynon is from pretty near (just down t'road!!).

So, in that case, if the riders can't be bothered, why should the fans? Got to feel sorry for Workington promotion. It's probably costing them money to host the event and the field doesn't really have a Riders Championship feel to it, so fans might choose to stay away. On top of that, there is a big announcement after the meeting and IF it is that they are moving up to Championship level, they appear to have little choice as, if it is to be believed, there will be no NDL next season. Just hope they aren't being asked to move up too quickly as it could all end in tears, but I really hope not.

If ( a very big if) Glasgow "moved up", their nearest rivals would be Belle Vue. Whether it would be in their financial interest to do so is very doubtful. The Facenna's are very good business men and if it was a case of just chucking money away they would probably make the move, but, as it stands, I'm guessing that the CL is the place to be.

Just waiting for the news that Team Manager Cami Brown has signed a new 10 year contract after winning the League title.
-
That's because the fans are the "least important thing" in speedway.
-
I could be wrong, but I doubt Stewart will drop to an NDL standard team. It might be slightly below current CL standard and slightly above the current NDL standard mind (that's only a guess too).

Glasgow Vs Oxford play offs 26/9/23

If it's a reserve he can take all four R/R rides, just three of them would be a reserve switch, rather than R/R, he would then only have three of his four programmed rides. -

They could have said he'd "aggravated the injury". -

A frustrated ride is one, whether programmed or not, including nomination as a TS, RR and IRR, which results in a disqualification for a starting offence, or for any reason, is unable to take part in a re-run and is replaced by another rider. Speedway Control Bureau Regulations 123 If no replacement is made it is a compulsory ride and counts towards the minimum 3 ride rule. If a replacement is made it will not count towards the minimum 3 ride rule. -
I was going off the official Green Sheet Averages.

Lewi Kerr has an 8.60 average for Oxford and is 2nd in their averages, ahead of Scott Nicholls. I reckon that makes him a Championship heat leader.

I think the ultimate downfall for Redcar this season is the fact they have very little "home advantage". -

Nope. His Farewell meeting has to take place before or after a certain date (can't remember what the dates are) early season or late season. Lets not forget this is the FIFTH attempt to run the meeting. -

I thought Poland has first call on Sunday's, especially when this is a re-arranged fixture? (From what others have been saying re: the Charles Wright situation the other week). -

Do Redcar have a choice?
