So, how are you enjoying that humble pie?

Just like to say Good Luck to Stuart Robson after he announced tonight that this season would be his last. Been a great servant to Newcastle and also British Speedway in general. Also well done Archie Freeman in winning the 150cc Youth Championship with four qualifying wins and a win in the Grand Final.

There is no problem with the forecast for Sunday at Newcastle.

A couple of added attractions for this one. The British Junior Championship Final follows the main meeting. Eight heats of qualifiers and a Grand Final (hence the earlier start time of 5.30pm) and also Kenni Larsen is over from Denmark and will be at Brough tomorrow night. It will be great to see him again: http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100925 Diamonds will use R/R for Matej Kus, not sure about the Comets line-up!

He put on Facebook this morning that his season is over.

You could never have a tac ride before heat 5. You're right in thinking heat 8 used to be protected, but my dodgy memory is telling me that was scrapped, but brought back this season, but I could be wrong though. -

In other words, nobody had the forethought of this happening when the fixtures where agreed before the season started. the fixtures were agreed to at the start of the season, so should have stood. This not through rose-tinted glasses, but from a neutral, who just wants to see rules and structure adhered to. -

I think you have to book in advance for the Panarama Restaurant, but the bar area will be open. Perhaps a Sheffield person (or anyone that knows?) will be able to confirm? -

Redcar v Newcastle Thursday

Ok. I thought (obviously incorrectly it seems) you could miss 24 hours either side of the event (presumably for travel arrangements to get to and from far off places), -

As far as I can see, they used R/R for James Shanes, who was representing GB at the World Longtrack Team Cup, which is an FIM event, so can't see what Sheffield have done wrong (if this is what is being asked).
