  1. And the best of it is, some moaners and groaners on here don't even go to the speedway! Bloody reptiles!
  2. As a previous poster pointed out I have no idea exactly what folk actually want from the team, about time a few on here started to manage some expectations.
  3. ha ha, but of course you wont be bothered eh ha ha love from the old man ha ha
  4. Crawled out from beneath your stone have we, was wondering when you was going to make an appearance on here,
  5. You are indeed correct they are not speedway fans......just mindless cretins who do more harm than good on here.
  6. Aye and that il give the moaners on here something extra to moan about (no speedway for 3 weeks)..................think about it!
  7. Mind the weather is biblical at the moment. On another note the attendance at saturday's Grand Prix was dire. and Tai's assesment of the track/racing being boring probably summed it up.
  8. you be there tomorrow night to cheer on the boys?
  9. And of course the selling of Alcohol another source of income.
  10. Since crowd levels seem to be the first/only thing on peoples mind, having watched a clip from a 1998 meeting (okay it is against isle of wight) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo6CvYjZX3U I would say that crowd levels are much healthier than back then.
  11. Do you have a poster in your shop? I am also led to believe that you are not allowed to put posters in supermarkets ie Asda, which is lets be honest most people go to?
  12. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcyt62suu#?fcTime=1431129600 there you go, no need for any track watering this evening, and tomorrow will be a fine dry day after lunch time.
  13. Oh dear. Lets see if the fishing rod makes an appearance.
  14. Whatever teams are put out on Saturday, let's get behind the boys a 100% and at the very least get a much needed win.
  15. Just wait and see then if the promotion pick up on what has been suggested on here then
  16. Seems that some of the fans would like to see the traditional parade return, Even if they can/could tailor it to please all fans alike, i.e bring the riders out on the playmobile truck to the starting gate, quick introduction (no need for any drivvle) Jump on there bikes for a couple of laps, then straight on with heat 1. This suggestion/thoughts has added a certain air of positivity on here, rather than a slanging match etc.
  17. Mabye this could be suggested to the promotion. I know it might not be the answer, but certainly maybe just maybe could pick up the mood in the stadium before the meeting starts.
  18. I will say one thing....i do miss the traditional wheeling of the bikes out then the riders doing a couple of practice starts/laps before the meeting, Felt it got the crowd up before the start of the meeting, they seem to do this al almost every other track just not berwick, for whatever reason? Instead we have them walking out and then go round on a playmobile van thing.
  19. Could be down to a number of things: Barker getting injured in the first meeting. The weather being so shockingly bad The team losing virtually every week at home. The ongoing rift between the VIP club and supporters club. (rift possibly not being the right word). Lack of entertainment maybe so, but is the track really that bad? or is it just being used as a scapegoat? All the negativity towards the club can do a lot of harm, as people will constantly hear bad things through the grapevine which in result will simply turn fans away. And to top it all of we are in the month of May! and already people saying this will be the last season we will see Berwick Speedway operate. How can you fix it.....i simply have no idea. Well get behind the club instead of constantly moaning and being negative towards it,
