  1. He is still as unreliable as ever but has more poor meetings these days, scored ok at Kings Lynn yesterday but poorly at Poole the night before. You just never know what he is going to get.
  2. That has made me feel very old. I was 14 when he released it! I agree with you about everyone at Poole too and the same applies to most tracks I have been to. Riders always happy to chat and have photos taken especially with the kids. My daughter even has a shirt that was signed by every rider in the team in that year, I remember Antonio Lindback was very chatty that night.
  3. Absolutely spot on Lisa, a more jealous ridiculously inaccurate post you couldn't imagine, personally had many nice chats with fans of other teams. We can't help wanting to win!
  4. Middlo isn't worried about Plymouth or any team, he knows we are capable of beating anybody, he was just making the point that Kennett should have been replaced not gone all season using guests . You seem to suggest Lawson took MPT out on purpose, I completely disagree with that, it was a racing incident..
  5. It was Batchelor who let you down and Kemp let us down. Thomas may get more than 2 but just coming back from injury maybe not and it looked prior to the meeting R/R improved the team, Heeps was poor which also didn't help.As for the crowd I think you should be able to tell who supports the away team whether they are in team colours or not.
  6. Yes another young rider doing ok but no real upgrade on Nathan Ablitt. If we had another rider out of form you could make a case for a double change but with Zach going to reserve soon i doubt many teams will fancy their chances.
  7. He has definitely shown promise and there is nobody better with his average in my opinion.
  8. Exactly and the rest of the team are going well so no reason to change, Ablitt is a young rider who scores points occasionally which is fine for us. To replace him would have to mean a double change which won't happen.
  9. No true but probably all they could get, Edwards rode well and Kye Thompson was not too bad, if they had got Pickering again it would have been better but Kerr rode well at Wolverhampton the other night so should have done better.
  10. It would be unusual for a promotor to call off a meeting because the opposition were under strength. The full Birmingham team is under strength really, sometimes guests can make a team stronger, like when Birmingham had Pickering as a guest. If they can't get suitable guests then it probably should be postponed but from Birmingham 's point of view I would think that they just want to get it over with.
  11. Doesn't matter who is bothered the meeting still has to be run. Birmingham's full team would struggle, the guests did ok last night especially Jason Edwards who I thought was excellent, it would have been closer if Stefan and Ashley didn't get injured.
  12. Not a bad meeting, some good races especially early on, shame about the injuries, Morris one looked bad, hope he makes a speedy recovery, all the best to Stef too, didn't look too bad but withdrew so maybe worse than it looked, his mum was standing next to me at the time so she rushed off and didn't return. Very interesting chat with the Cooks mum and dad. So a good night, result never in doubt but would have been closer without the injuries.
  13. Hope you are correct but Speedway has a habit of coming up with strange results.
  14. Drew had a good finish to the meeting at Wolves tonight, we need him to ride well the rest of the season.
  15. Yes Howarth usually rides well at Monmore too.
  16. Judging by his performance tonight, Kerr is a very good guest and the other two guests should be at least as good as the riders they are replacing. So should be a close meeting.
