  1. Which rider may live in Scotland? Not that it would be an issue for most riders, Harris rides for Berwick and lives near Coventry.
  2. I fully understand that point of view, I have been critical of my team in the past for that.
  3. Didn't fancy anyone from the Newcastle team then? Could of had Starke and possibly strengthened lower down with another of the Newcastle riders.
  4. No idea but if I was a promotor I am sure I could come up with some names. So you are saying there were no riders available on his average!
  5. I can't imagine Redcar will cause an upset even if Lawson has a bad meeting but I expect he will have a good one as he probably could do with the cash as apparently good guests are very expensive!
  6. If guests are not cost effective, I don't see why Kennett wasn't replaced? Don't tell me there weren't other riders available.
  7. Kennett would have been replaced by now if he hadn't got injured, they have done well to get away with guests all season, must be a very cost effective way of running the team.
  8. Yes he is definitely off form, been quite poor for a while, quite worrying from a Poole perspective.
  9. I agree Steve, there is no bumps anymore and the track staff did an amazing job especially getting the demolished air fence repaired so quickly.
  10. Unfortunately those days are gone just like Coventry racetrack. The winning rider is the champion, the record books will show that, means more to Sam Masters than the actual trophy and cements him as the best rider in the Championship league.
  11. Why doesn't mean Alot? I have been to many playoffs and the atmosphere is electric and the riders put everything on the line and if the home team win the title it is a great night. You don't get that in normal league meetings. If the club go beyond their means then that is their fault. I believe Poole have never done that and we dropped a league to save money and it has worked.
  12. It brings a title for the winner of the playoffs which is much better than losing! The records will show that.
  13. With all the extra fans you get at play off meetings it should be good for business. This year we are in the quarter finals too so more play off meetings should be good for business too.
  14. The increased crowd levels are the reason why we have the playoffs and they are usually fantastic meetings. We'll worth winning in my opinion from a fans point of view.
  15. So you are saying as a direct result of winning Workington went out of business. I don't think so!
  16. Yes true so winning the title and having a successful team is good for business. Play off matches are always well attended.
  17. Exactly, it doesn't mean if you are bottom you have more chance of staying solvent.
  18. Why bother at all then. If you are in any competition you want to win it.
  19. No panic here , no need to panic at all , why would there be with Coles and Complin in the team!! Shame your spellcheck doesn't work.
  20. Apparently rode in 2013 but didn't appear in the play offs so may have got injured, didn't seem to hinder us!
  21. Oh ok, I have had a look now and it seems he wasn't available for the play offs, I assume he was injured.
