  1. What was wrong with the track then, a little bumpy? He rode for us in the play off final, I am not sure it wasn't bumpy then!
  2. I thought he was doing it so he could join Poole when Wolves sack him!
  3. Well it is certainly a big improvement on his last performance at Foxhall.
  4. I did say that the Poole meeting was fantastic, great racing with passing every lap it seemed. From memory Peterborough only used to get great racing later in the meeting but that day from the start it seemed all the riders were up for it and normally driving home after losing i wouldnt be happy but not that night because i knew i had seen a special meeting. Nobody would expect that every week but if most meetings were half as good im sure crowd levels would increase. The Belle Vue meeting at Peterborough on tv the other day wasn't great but considering the crashes and the home team down to 5 riders after a couple of races and having a second string riding at 1 it was never going to be a good meeting.
  5. Slightly worrying is Lawson 14 points tonight and Wimborne Road is a happy hunting ground for him usually.
  6. Great result not sure it was a great meeting,
  7. Yes would expect more from Ricky obviously left his gating boots at home. NBJ only got 5 tonight i think, shame about NBJ thought there was a lot more to come from him but there is little doubt at the moment Wells is a better alternative. Very good news Nico is in the points tonight.
  8. Wells has already improved with good scores at Peterborough twice and at Poole.
  9. Yes well I already mention Morris, what makes you think Nick or any other rider will improve with a change of team?
  10. So what will change when the August averages come out, does Richie's average go up to 7!
  11. Yes a far more reasonable assessment of the situation.
  12. Nick Morris when he has been released by Wolves? Freddie Jackobsen, Jonasson?
  13. Yes but I think they are better than that although they will miss Harris and Nicholls isn't riding very well at present.
  14. NBJ maybe not fully fit but he has been scoring well for Berwick although he wasn't too impressive for Belle Vue at Peterborough, they are trying to make excuses for his departure rather than just say Wells performances have warranted a change. Wells either didn't like riding for Belle Vue or he has found the answer to his poor scores for them, he got 12 the other night at Peterborough whereas earlier in the season at Peterborough he scored zero.
  15. He can ride Thursday just not for Poole as he's been sacked
  16. If the change is made i feel a bit for NBJ but i have no doubt it is the right decision,Wells is a much better rider, i just feel at this stage it would have been beneficial to keep NBJ while Richie is injured.
  17. Yes but those days are behind him i'm afraid , he isn't the rider he was, possibly injuries have taken their toll.
  18. Yes but in fairness Ipswich only rode last night so maybe a bit early for team news.
  19. Shame if NBJ has been given the boot, personally i would have temporarily replaced Richie with Wells.
