Poole v Ipswich. Prem. 18th July 2019
foreverblue replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well that's made it even easier -
If Nico is back great otherwise i would use Wells again.
-
I think NBJ has more potential and gives his all not something you could always say about Wells.
-
That is good news for the future but they have to establish themselves in the lower leagues first and it showed the gulf when Bickley guested for Belle Vue recently. Bickley is a terrific prospect but i said before the meeting it was too early in his development to ride in the top division.
-
Well he's raised his average and done pretty well. Bearing in mind the struggles we have had getting guests to cover although Wells has largely done a good job and could be an option i think we are better off with NBJ.
-
Yes he isn't the rider he was. Always liked Kyle but he isn't the rider that was in our title winning team.
-
None that are available and any good.
-
As i said there aren't any good ones left. Long may you not post!
-
Yes i know but he said we don't like Brits. Funny how he didn't post after our amazing win at Ipswich.
-
Yeah right haha your so funny.
-
Yes we do like brits, we like Richie unfortunately there aren't any left who haven't been taken already and are good enough

How would anyone know how well Brady rides the Ipswich track? When was the last time he rode there? -
Ricky Wells has been a good guest for us apart from at Saddlebow road so you can only think he doesn't like the Belle Vue track much like Scott Nicholls.
-
The Poole match was the best meeting I have seen in years.

As is often the case it is fair to say Ipswich were poor , Lawson was very poor by his standards as was KP, Allen has an excuse as he has only recently returned from injury. Poole rode well and the reserve guests didn't let them down which is unusual . I don't see Covatti not doing a similar job , possibly NBJ may not have done as well who knows and Richie would definitely have done better than Kyle! Jack rode very well all night and he only got 5 last time so a massive improvement. -

Yes fair comment if he had just tried to block him over the last lap or two but just shutting off when he did I can see why he was enraged although I expect Jack has apologised it didn't seem that much of a heated debate and calmed down pretty quickly. -

Well that was a shockingly good performance by the patched up pirates and we probably should have got all 4 points on offer. Special praise goes to our guest reserves, they were very good indeed, Jack looked very quick, in fact the announcer said it was a fast time in the first race, Josh got quicker as the night progressed and Klindt looked quick too, I believe I read he was a previous track holder and looked like it, unfortunately Kyle looked like his best days are behind him. Harris started poorly but got better and managed a vital heat 15 win to stop us getting all four points, Jack was all over him for 3 laps but couldn't get through and then tried to slow King's progress on the last lap to help Josh get 3rd which King didn't appreciate and they had words afterwards. King rode ok but was last in his tactical ride which didn't help them.Heeps was ok without catching the eye, Lawson was very poor, well below his usual performance, Kennet was ok and Allen looks like he hasn't fully recovered from his injuries. -
