  1. I don't think Kings Lynn were ever regarded as underdogs all season by any means, they may have not been expected to win but they made the right changes at the right time and now are the title favourites. I don't think they were never expected to finish bottom. The Poole team looked good on paper but riders go in and out of form, Josh G for example has only been riding well fairly recently, he had a very poor start, Holder didn't materialise so changes had to be made and now we have a small chance of winning which is amazing considering how we started.
  2. The two situations are completely different, Middlo was trying to be supportive and play down the incident which maybe is what Allit should be doing.
  3. Exactly which is what Steve has said in a earlier post but hey ho according to Starman Matt has given it a lot of thought so it must be the right decision!
  4. He doesn't seem like someone who can let things go but just gets more and more annoyed, how many times did he mention the track being different from normal? He did apologise at the time on tv so don't know why he is not playing it down like you say. I would tell Starman to go find his own thread if I were you!
  5. I think all the team get involved as to the best options, maybe Josh finds it easier riding at number 2 and as the captain gets his wish.
  6. In my opinion heat 1 would be a 3-3 anyway because Somerset would most likely put a reserve in heat 1 who Kurtz and Woryna should beat so having Josh in that race is a waste and he could get a 5-1 with Klindt in heat 3.
  7. Disappointed to read on the Poole site that Josh is back at number 2, bad decision in my opinion. I thought having him at number 3 at Somerset worked really well and with Doyle against him in heat 1 is a waste. I am assuming it is because Somerset are operating rider replacement at 2 and we want to cover that .
  8. i am sorry that is not what i meant, i meant losing Cook was a major blow and Bellego was a poor choice of guest. As for turning the volume up, i was late in from work and missed Kelvin's dirtometer analysis.
  9. One thing to Bomber's advantage is he is on one of the outside gates in heat 1. I would have Woryna at 2 but if we are to beat Somerset they all need to do their job.Josh has been excellent lately but against Doyle in heat one there is far more to gain having him at 3.
  10. Of course it upset the odious one, he thinks all Belle Vue fans are angels!
  11. I didn't say i have all the answers only saying how it looked on telly.I didn't say Cook should have rode just that a fully fit cook would have probably won you the meeting. personally i think the wrong choice of guest was made i would have got Batchelor or Musielak .
  12. Yes it was no secret Harris would move to one and Covatti go to reserve .
  13. The track looked greasy early on like it was over watered and because of the practice the home team had prior knowledge it was different than normal so maybe got lucky early and unlucky later on with Worrall's breakdown, well I say unlucky depending what was at fault , Lambert's first race failure was not unlucky though but he and NKI sorted it out later, they are a terrific pairing when on form. The whole team fought hard and proved they were the better team, Belle Vue would have done better with Cook riding apart from his first ride Bellego was a poor guest.
  14. Totally agree , Woryna maybe better at home than he was at Somerset but why change it when it seemed to work so well, surely you have the weakest member in your 1-5 at number 2 which isn't Josh it is Woryna.
  15. Don’t think so if we make the final it going to be tight and could go either way but Kings Lynn must be clear favourites.
  16. I can't see how this was done deliberately though, Peterborough are very much weakened without him.
  17. Always a bit dodgy going with only 6 riders though, only need one rider off form and you down to 5, you cannot afford anyone to be struggling whereas with 7 you can cover that off form rider, that would be my worry if it were my team but as you say difficult to see how the riders replacing him won't get more than 5 from 4 rides.
