Wells is a ex Wolves rider and usually rides well there so he could be a bonus and Morris could do ok but they are nowhere near the riders they are replacing. Thorssell and Lindgren are irreplaceable at Monmore. Personally I would have picked Ritchie Worrall he was terrific when Poole were there.

Did you see Nicholls last night he was worse than Harris last week, Morris often has a fall in one of his outings, Cook and Worrall are usually good at Monmore and Tungate has had good meetings there too. Fricke is a miss for Belle Vue but Wolves are missing four of their top 5.

No you sound like a Aces fan trying to make out Wolves should win when in truth Belle Vue should walk this overall.

Unfortunately it seems you chose the wrong guest on Wednesday, probably in hindsight Nicholls may have been better, by using Nicholls tonight I am assuming he will be the guest of choice for the cup, I remember Nicholls guesting for Poole at Monmore and he was excellent.

I believe Kennett has a good record at Somerset so may be a reasonable guest, it isn't as though Somerset have any chance of turning over a 14 point deficit anyway. Poole wouldn't have won there without him.

Klindt wouldn't be long in the main body of the team with Woryna at reserve.

There were a few things that went wrong for Wolves, probably the most important was Howarth in heat 8 seemingly having bike issues and Harris was appalling.

He wasn't given the opportunity in heat 12 or 14, he should have been in one of them, Greaves rode well but Riss is a better rider and given the meeting situation was worth the risk to be in one of those heats unless he was injured.

Last nights meeting was pretty good considering the slick track, I expect that was because of worries that it might rain and wasn't watered enough. I don't think the slick track like the track that the Swindon riders moaned about on Monday didn't suit the home riders especially Bomber who likes it grippier. Easy to say after the event but Nicholls would probably have been a better guest as he is a better gater, Like Monday it was the same for both sides and the better team won overall.
