  1. I don't think would argue against that nomination, maybe Brady and Hans was a good captain. I would have Hans back as a 3rd heat leader.
  2. I don't think you can expect Bomber to struggle at Wolves, you can expect BWD to struggle as he struggled at Swindon on Monday and has struggled for Peterborough lately. It is about current form not what happened months ago. Musielak getting passed by Bomber on his home track wouldn't have happened a few weeks ago, Ellis has been flying but last two meetings for Swindon have been awful, Bellego up and down, mainly down, Carr poor apart from his first ride Monday, Doyle worried about his world title. Maybe I was wrong when I said it will be close! Difficult to be complacent when your already losing! Obviously different forecast to the one I looked at!
  3. Earlier in the season when Poole rode at Wolves we won! Last time we only lost narrowly, Last time Swindon were there they got hammered, I know they had Thorssell and Lindgren but they proved on Monday they are not a team to take lightly.
  4. What mistake was that then? Complacency, riders off form, Rosco not on his game, moaning about track not to their liking, bickering between themselves, a rider thinking about his up and coming world title. I'm sure I have forgotten something!
  5. I think it will be close, I seem to remember saying prior to Lindgren's unfortunate injury that I thought both meetings would be close mainly because Freddie would have 6 rides and that would counteract the loss of Thorssell but after the surprising score from Monday I think this may well be very close, I hope so for the neutrals although I appreciate from a Wolves perspective maybe they would like it to be not so close! If Lindgren was fit you couldn't see how Swindon could possibly win but I think Bomber is a good guest, made a pretty decent overtake on Musielak on Monday and I expect more of the same tonight, he rides the track well and could well be a match winner.
  6. Is the reference to suet relevant? Can't see it myself but it should be a cracking meeting. Doyley didn't seem to put this week's GP to the back of his mind on his home track so what chance he will do that tonight. We know he should get a max tonight as he should of on Monday but will he?
  7. I think all your team are on form and up for it, Schlein doing a proper captains job and helping out lesser riders with equipment is what any fan would want to hear. Clearly knows what he is doing too, Greaves was better and rode the track pretty well. It certainly looked like Wolves had done their homework and left no stone unturned.
  8. He must have barged a few riders out of the way in that meeting! And they can't get Newman because his average has gone up.
  9. As I said anything can happen and it did! Not so much a prediction but I said its a speedway meeting anything can happen!
  10. How come the Wolves riders managed to pass, Doyle couldn't even pass Riss! Swindon could do it but all the Wol;ves team go so well at their own track I really can't see it happening.
  11. I know Doyle has a world championship to think about but I would be disappointed with his efforts if I was a Swindon fan. Without Lindgren or Thorsell to worry about he should have got a max and to get beaten by a reserve!
  12. Can you honestly see Doyley going all out when he didn't on his home track, they will certainly need Ellis to up his game because he is usually very good at the Wolves track. Can't see Swindon winning at Wolves.
  13. Surely you plan for all eventualities, it happens all the time in sport, fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
  14. Tatum pointed out before the meeting that Ronnie Russell had prepared the track with grip inside and outside and slick in the middle so did nobody from Swindon walk the track or they just thought they only had to turn up to win. They can say it was different from normal but they didnt think we need to ride where the Wolves riders were riding. Rosco and the team were complacent he even said on tv they wernt excited but very relaxed. Overall not a bad meeting with a couple of good battles and some good passes. I think we know Wolves wont lose it, Swindon will have to win it, Adams wont let that happen. He got them right on it from the start and when a team is massive underdogs that helps too.
  15. He was never going to beat Morris or Doyle in heat 15 but he had a good night overall as did all the Wolves riders.
  16. Nobody can say its home advantage that won Wolves the final just looked like they wanted it more even Harris bought in to the Wolves team spirit.
  17. Yeah i believed last week and then it all went wrong!Rosco now working out how to get Newman back forBWD.
  18. He did gatea couple of times but got passed, looked half the rider he was last week, i am going to blow my own teumpet again, i did say he only got 3 in his last meeting for Peterborough so not in form and Ellis was poor last week too.
  19. Say what you like about Adams but he is a winner, second is first loser to him.
