While I appreciate the Wolves track is not everyone's cup of tea and quite understandably Wolves fans will defend and I have defended it in the past because I like the atmosphere, fans are polite, racing is usually good, there isn't always a lot of locking up and struggling with bends and have generally enjoyed the evening. Accidents happen and unfortunately happen more often at smaller tracks but there were a lot of crashes at Swindon too with riders in the main going down with nobody near them and that is a big track. In my opinion the rain had a effect and made the track grippier than usual and the conditions along with riders going flat out because it is the play offs undoubtedly caused a number of accidents but to completely blame the shape of the track for every accident that happens at Wolves I don't think is quite correct.

Strange really as Tungate usually rides Monmore well I thought. Lots of crashes at both meetings last night, conditions had a lot to with it I think, both track had a fair bit of rain during the day.

Or his average is too high due to him riding in the Championship earlier in the season and his average was 3.00 which converts to 2.5 and Smith is a 2.00.

Gives them 8 hours to sort it out. Ive seen meetings on when its chucked it down all day. We will soon know because they wont want to call if off late and upset BT again

Surely your head says a home win too, ok you may have one or two that have had a dip in for but so have Poole, you look to have a stronger rider in every position except reserve. If Poole make it will need more than one bit of luck which we didn't get in the first leg.

Yes i agree Ellis has been terrific lately and could be a match winner.

Wolves are favourites but not massive favourites, Smith maybe ok at Belle Vue but he is usually not that good away, Greaves is a better rider overall so don't think Smith will be missed much.

Stats do not always tell the full story, Bookies agree Wolves are favourites.

Not all Poole fans have said all those things! All i have said is that it was fair enough that THJ rode at Belle Vue because BWD was down to ride for Peterborough at Scunthorpe and it was already arranged. Rosco may have been able to get BWD in whey the meeting was postponed and told THJ not to bother but i fully understand when you have spent time and money getting someone from Sweden you would stick with the original plan. The only moan i would have if it were to happen would be if BWD didn't ride monday but rode tuesday, if that were to happen then i would think that would be something to moan about but now after last night that is unlikely to happen unless they get Newman in again.

Feel sorry for Swindon, not a chance. I will be there hoping that against all the odds we have a bit of luck and win.

I would say Wolves are clear favourites, Bewley is by far the best reserve in the league and he goes well at Monmore so with him in form they have a chance but Wolves should be able to build a sizeable advantage with most of their team in good form.

I expect BWD to turn up monday, don't mind who turns up as long it isn't Kyle Newman!
