  1. This should be a good meeting especially the Swindon one. It maybe the dress rehearsal for the final.
  2. Cant see us beating Swindon but we can dream.
  3. Yes but with full teams I expect some of those results may have been different. The play offs with hopefully full teams should be close matches home and away.
  4. I think Wolves are pretty solid away from home, Thorsell and Greaves maybe a little suspect away but the rest are going well everywhere.
  5. To be honest all teams have a chance because anything can happen in a speedway meeting I just hope there is no controversial decisions from the referee.
  6. Do you think we will play on the 11th or 18th? I suspect we will be at home for the first leg.
  7. Yeah we all feel for KK!!! Maybe sorry is the wrong word!!
  8. But you did say because Swindon won at Rye before and they were on a unbeaten run, they were clear favourites to win. Also we scraped a win last night, Josh G had bike problems in heat 15, if he hadn't we most likely wouldn't have won and you intimated the win for Poole was nailed on.
  9. Great result thought we had blown it but last heat decider clinched it. Well done Hans captain fantastic. Well done Middlo. One proud pirate tonight.
  10. Yeah on BSPA site it sates Lahti moves above Starke in averages but we will get stuffed in the play offs anyway whoever is at reserve, it is an achievement making the play offs with the current team. Because he hates us and wants us to fail which is why he constantly says we are going to win even if it is likely we won't, it is a win win for him, if we lose he's happy and if we win he gets to say I told you so.
  11. 5 for Holder maybe more than Kennett and Starke get between them!
  12. Well I think Steve and I both agree it is going to be tough, Kennett was up and down last night, two wins then nothing, Starke is clearly not at his best although he did beat Auty from the back, Jack had a bad night although he did get a race win so may not be a big loss but overall it won't be easy like last night where we should have won by more.
  13. Tough meeting Lahti 7 rides which judging on last night is a big bonus although he may be knackered! Somerset is not a bad team and all their riders go well at their track although Hougaard isn't at his best at the moment. Missing Jack Holder may not hurt us too much and all our riders should go well too but to win the meeting may be beyond us.
  14. I thought this was a pretty good meeting, some good races, Lahti was on fire and as I have said previously his form of late has been much better and deserves a place next year, unfortunately if we make the play offs he won't be at reserve. The rain came just as the Poole meeting finished so after a chat with some fellow Pirates, a look at the track and a long drive home in prospect I took the decision to go, good decision as it turned out. Just call me Michael Fish!
  15. He went to Spain for a daytrip! Hope there isn't any tonight don't want any further delays!
  16. it may not be concussion, may have just been out in the sun too long.
  17. So what if there is a rain delay between meetings and they can't fit 10 heats in before the curfew?
  18. I was pointing out crashes happen everywhere, just because riders escaped without injury doesn't make them any better or worse than any other track and it is not usually the track at fault, it is usually rider error, sometimes bad luck, wrong place wrong time, sometimes riders are lucky, some are not.
  19. There were crashes at Rye House Monday which could have resulted in injuries, does that make it a horror track?
  20. I think after what has been said in the press and on Kings Lynn twitter it would be a surprise if Robert Lambert did ride in the second meeting tonight.
  21. So he plans to do both but they have a plan if he can't ride in the second meeting. If Huckenbeck isn't there they could use r/r for the Poole meeting then r/r for Lambert and a guest for Huckenbeck which could be Jack Holder.
  22. Your be lucky 7.30 start. Its going to be a late one even if it all goes smoothly.
  23. Do we believe Buster though? If this is the case he can rest it against us then ride against Rye! He didn't tail off last night! Actually Jack seemed to enjoy the track last time and rode it well.
