  1. Never heard them being called the new turbo twins until recently and that is only because one half of the original turbo twins is riding for Kings Lynn next season
  2. You should have gone it was fantastic, cracking racing great stadium plenty of food and drink outlets. Didnt have to worry about parking as i was in hotel opposite. Poole 2004 was amazing but you will never get 7000 there again.
  3. My opinion is that calling them the turbo twins is ridiculous. Gavan doesn't like Matt Ford or Poole but he isn't alone!
  4. I can see both teams challenging for honours but Batchelor can be unpredictable, so can Lambert away from home and Chris Holder isn't too good at smaller tracks.
  5. I think Batchelor and Watty will have much better seasons, Sedgy always does well in Australia much better than he does over here, just don't think you can read too much into the results. Kurtz and Holder would beat Sedgeman nine times out of ten over here.
  6. Form in the Aussie meetings rarely transfers to the form in Britain, Sedgeman got 14!
  7. Yes it is true he was poor in the play off meeting but was ok in the league meeting so not a track he can't ride
  8. Never said Kurtz was the next superstar, in fact i believe i said he would let us down at crucial times and unfortunately i was proved to be correct. Maybe too much is being put on young Jack Holder but i have no doubt in my mind he will surpass anything Brady Kurtz achieves in the sport.
  9. You may have took it to mean that but is that what he mean't? We will never know as he is bound to agree that is what he mean't!
  10. I don't think he is sure as i believe Freddie has finished on the rostrum and more than once.
  11. Kurtz struggled in the play off at Monmore but was ok in the league meeting, i don't think he has a problem with the track, we don't really know if Jack will struggle like his brother used to. That is because we have seen him ride and think he has a lot of potential.
  12. I will grant you Thorsell is improving but it wouldnt surprise me if Jack Holder was a heat leader fairly soon. Hans is not a spent force although not as good as he was. Kasprzak is better than Lindgren but not at Monmore where he usually struggles. Thorsell is a improving rider and could have the edge on Hans and Masters is at the moment better than whoever is our third heatleader. Poole's second strings are stronger and balances it out, Klindt at reserve means overall we are stronger.
  13. Just because it didn't help Poole win last season doesn't mean reserves are not vital but they can't do it on their own! Wolves top 3 are strong but Newman massively outscored Howarth in the play offs and although his average is lower on a head to head he is stronger, Jack Holder is a terrific young improving rider against a rider who should maintain his average but i will be shocked if young Jack doesn't put at least a point on his average, so overall Poole's top 5 are at least as strong as Wolves.
  14. Be my guest! There are certain things in life you can rely on, one is Poole making the play offs and another one is Arsenal dropping points in the new year!
  15. And you wonder why every is about Poole, you clearly bring upon yourselves!!
  16. We will be there no worries on that score but winning the play offs is a different matter Put it like this then Poole will be in the play offs and KK will not be found wanting.
  17. Are you saying this team wont make the play offs!!
  18. Disagree much rather have KK, Lindgren average tells you Lindgren is hardly any better than Hans Andersen let alone KK. I know what many have said about his attitude but i believe we won't see that next season, Holder had a few bad meetings last season, most riders do but you can be sure KK won't be found wanting in the important meetings like the play offs.
  19. That could have been bike issues rather than couldnt be bothered issues on that particular day. Ok but last season at Kings Lynn KK's first meeting got a max and second meeting got 11 beating Iversen in heat 15, Holder last season got max in the second meeting when Kings Lynn had Danny King guesting for Iversen and got 5 in the first meeting not winning a race. Also when KK guested for Poole at home he got a max. Obviously his average tells you that he didnt do that all the time he had some bad ones but they were probably at Wolves where he is notoriously bad but Holder hates the Wolves track too. I think he did have a bad one at Poole once when riding for Coventry but had a bad crash in that meeting so understandable.
  20. I have every confidence KK will produce the goods next season and there is no other rider on his average or below that i would want, all clubs have their favourites and he has always been a favourite at Poole. Personally i have never seen him disinterested riding for Poole, he will get many maximum scores next season
