Its fair to say Newmans average has gone up and down more than most mainly due to injuries. We saw what he is capable of in the play offs so if he could be injury free then his average would improve quite a bit in my opinion.
I have said before i dont think Fricke or Kurtz will make gp standard but Jack Holder will in my opinion, they all have time on their side but i think Jack has what it takes although the others could develop later like Doyle has.
The problem is we dont know what the criteria will be for the averages so we can only guess, i am sure Newman will be in the team anyway whatever criteria is used.
i agree it should be a conversion like the one worked out by SCB on another thread but only for EDR's.
He scores well in the EL because he is riding against other EDR's most of the time, he is one of the best EDR's so that is no surprise is it.
He has an official PL average. It may be lower than you would expect but that is because he has struggled with injuries and took time to get his confidence back, for Poole he hasn't been at his best all season for the same reason.
Thats good, i hope Holder returns along with his brotherJack who i rate highly, Hans, Ellis and Newman would be good but can't see Brady Kurtz being viable on his average rather have Kacper Gomolski also Milik is a good option. Love to see KK back and has a tempting average.
Whether KK would average more than Holder over the season is open to question but he would be a great alternative if Holder no longer wants to ride for us. Also i see in the paper than Kacper Gomolski possibly could return which i would welcome as i think he was very unlucky not to be retained last season and on his average there are very few better.
Poland have always told their riders their priorities, just now it is written down and riders have to agree to it. The problem now is that foreign riders have to make Poland their priority too if they want to ride in the Polish league.
