  1. I mean't it was unfortunate he lifted at the wrong moment which was why he clipped Cook's wheel. Totally agree and when i have had the pleasure of speaking to him a really nice person too.
  2. The reason he clipped the wheel is because he lifted it was a hard move but he was fighting to win the title.A lot of riders cut across when they get in front to stop the other rider from getting back at them just unfortunate he clipped his wheel.
  3. Just like to add it is a fitting tribute to PK in finishing his career in Britain. He rode his socks off tonight and scored vital points . A true gentleman of the sport and a nicer person i have yet to meet.
  4. I agree the sport needs a bit of attitude, Lindgren was the best rider on the night and left Cook no room but it is a play off final, nobody is moaning about Worrall giving Tai no room in his tac ride. Fans giving riders stick and riders giving it back is a good thing.Belle Vue took it to them but like Poole at Wolves in the semi, crucial heat 12 when a 5-1 was expected and Clegg came up trumps with a clever cut back when Worrall tried to take him wide. Belle Vue fans will be disappointed but they have a fantastic track to watch every week and should be happy with their teams effort. Yes the tv glossed over that one.
  5. Not dirty just hard and he lifted which didn't help. Worrall came right across on Woffinden in his tac ride.
  6. i expect a big score from Fricke tonight, Nicholls has been poor at home so he is due one but i think the Wolves joker in the pack is Thorsell.
  7. Is Mark Lemon a good tosser! SWC was also a lovely day so hopefully great racing.
  8. Yes well everyone was predicting a 5-1 to Poole in heat 12 last week!
  9. There's a Tesco a short walk from the stadium to cater for all your needs!
  10. Luck happens thoughout the season maybe Belle Vue have been lucky up until monday night.
  11. A 5-1 in heat one will be difficult with Freddie and PK in it.
  12. True who cares always preferred blue teams!! Forgot the curry mile must try that next time.
  13. I would say if you want real food go in to Manchester if your early enough only takes a few minutes on the bus or train. I expect the red part of Manchester really enjoyed that one!!
  14. I said he was because he usually is and after his race win i thought he would be better overall. It was a totally different Nicholls to the one that guested for poole at Wolves when he was passing Lindgren and co with ease.
  15. But he had the best gate in heat one that is the point,Middlo made the same mistake put out tac too early when there were easier races later, if you can do a tac ride that early you are in trouble so the timing of the tac ride is vital to give the team a boost later on, so you do it when your against lesser riders.
  16. My money went on Wolves and see no reason to have a saver on Belle Vue, 18 points is about double what Belle vue are capable of pulling back.
  17. What was wrong with Pk's bike as he had to use Masters bike and that couldn't have been ideal. What a fitting way to finish your EL career with a league title though.
  18. I didn't say that it is all his fault of course it isn't but the second year running his team have started the play offs badly, maybe he wants it too much and pressures the riders too much and they over ride or maybe the riders want it too much but Cook seems to be only rider who can handle it. I am sure Adams does a lot behind the scenes as does Middlo and we all make mistakes but in a play off final you can't afford mistakes. Adams calming influence is a major factor in Wolves success.
  19. You don't think putting Zagar on the worst gate for his tactical ride was a mistake! Madness should have waited to see how things were panning out and use him in a easier race. I konw you topped the league but it's the play offs that he really has to show his mettle.
  20. Always the exception, i like that ! I try to be objective too, top riders should be able to ride any track, Holder seems to have a mental block about small tracks. Most Belle Vue fans were gracious in defeat accepting that they rode badly, i say most because one comes to mind who wasn't! Nicholls was terrific for Poole when he rode there so may be the pressure got to him as well, you would expect him to score double figures on his own, maybe having Sophie in the pits put him off, it would me! Overall i can't see how they can keep Woffinden quiet on the wide open spaces at Belle Vue or Lindgren for that matter but Wolves do have some weaknesses although i think Howarth will give as good as he gets but Clegg may not trouble the scorers. Many on here including you tell us Middlo is a poor manager but surely even you would agree Mark Lemon is much worse, Adams may not be laugh a minute but his calm persona is what is needed, no targets just get as many points as you can.
