Yes that is what i said he will be in heat leader role because of his average but not signed as a heat leader from the list whereas Hans won't start as a heat leader but is a heat leader from the list.

Nothing about Chris specifically as far as i can see. Yes it does say the final two will be announced in the week but surprised why it has taken this long, it has been obvious for some time who the last two are.

I think some of us myself included misinterpreted what he said, he said Bucko was going to start the season in a heat leader berth not that he has been signed as a heat leader. I find it strange Chris Holder and Davey Watt haven't been announced yet.

It was a quote directly from Matt Ford, he said he will be in a heat leader berth. But Shamek is over the 6.5 average which i understood was part of the criteria for a heat leader.

Well the quote from Matt Ford in the paper at the time of Bucko's announcement stated he would be in a heat leader berth. That's not what Matt Ford said in the paper.

Obviously he isn't on the list because he didn't ride here last season and he has a average below 6.5. That must be the criteria which like the heat leader list hasn't been published. i don't think promoters help themselves by keeping these things secret. It could be said there is a reason to publish the heat leader list when all riders have been signed but there is no reason why the criteria cannot be published. He rode here last season, Hans is a lower average and he is on the list.

Yes true there must a cheaper option than flying him in from Poland every week so maybe the rules and lack of available riders have restricted who can be signed. Not sure that is how it works, i would have thought if you haven't ridden here for a while but were a heat leader last time you rode here then you should be a heat leader now and if you rode here last season and you spent the majority of last season as a heat leader then you should be a heat leader now unless you use the criteria of where you finished last season.

Thats is a fair point if they only had 5-6 points to play with but when you have over 7 points to play with then you go for a proven EL scorer of which there are plenty below 7.27, why take the risk, he must be cheap.

Yes that is probably true and a similar average. A very risky signing in my opinion.
