  1. I think Lemo is a mate of Boycie so probably last in the pecking order.Anyway they have drafted in Ward now so as long as it's not a big gamble with his injury the Aussies should win.
  2. Middlo picked the best 4 riders thart we have, ok there not good enough but they were the best on form. Lyons picked Barker and Bridger were they better? I dont think so, we just havent got the riders at the moment.
  3. 2004 world cup was pretty good too and Hector should have retired 10 years ago
  4. If they put some dirt down like there was monday and we ride above ourselves like we did monday then we have a chance,i love the way they all rode monday showed that we can match anybody. On paper Denmark are clear favourites but all the teams can win races which will help us,impressed with Ales Dryml on monday no wonder he won the gp qualifier.
  5. And the british gp is in Cariff obviously some would want it at Wembley whereas others would want it at Murrayfield!!
  6. I must admit they do know how to prepare a track at Kings Lynn, top class track prep equals top class racing, wish they could do that in gp's as well, event 1 in Poland could have done with a bit more grip in my opinion and even though the racing in Poland was good, maybe it could have been even better.
  7. Saddlebow road is a fantastic race track, nearly all the top riders say so,it's just the better riders in the world cup bring out the best in it. All the riders ride at there limit and sometimes over it,would Danny King have won that race against those riders in a league meeting,i don't think so. Can anyone criticise Middlo's team selection now,all our riders did us proud, without a couple of unfotunate mechanical gremlins we could have won.
  8. Well what a cracker that was, from my point of view you don't get better meetings than world cup meetings for commitment, passion and excitement that you don't get in league meetings maybe some races are better but for overall entertainment the world cup is terrific and for the same price as a league meeting if you bought in advance for more heats, what value.

  13. Agree completely,i am going but it is a shame Darcy won't be there as he is fantastic at the norfolk arena and although it strenghens our cause,Batch also goes well at Kings Lynn and i can't see how it won't be a walk in the park for Australia and definately looking forward to seeing Crumpy,he will be almost unbeatable. Not a gamble at all,who else is there? Barker and Kennett are rubbish at the moment,Danny is going well and by far the best option, everyone will give their all.A half fit Scotty is still a better option than anyone else that could have ridden.
  14. The gp's have a qualifying system, you have to be in the top eight to qualify.Maybe you could make all riders who dont make the top eight qualify rather than wild cards or a system that would use the riders averages may be fairer but to be fair most would say that we have the top riders in the gp's as it is and it could be said that with riders like Lindback who didnt make the top eight but qualified through the qualification system and Bjarne also qualified through the system and most would say he isnt good enough for the gp's now.So Ward and Emil apart where are the new riders who should be in the gp's
  15. Absolutely correct and for parsloes to say Hancock let him pass because he didnt see him as a threat and lose valuable gp points is utter nonsense,
  16. Hancock isnt Nicki he wouldnt do that,he did not let him pass, Harris was clearly faster than him and Hancock tried to stop his run round the outside and Harris nipped up the inside.
  17. From what i recall of that amazing night in 2007 was that Harris cut back up the inside of Hancock on the last bend.
  18. I would of,he is a class exciting rider who came third in the last completed gp,certainly deserves it more than Harris or Nicki
  19. I was on 3rd bend lower didn't see all that went on because alot was behind us but after the offenders were taken away everyone cooled down a bit, didn't spoil my enjoyment and i am very happy it's there 5 more years.best speedway event of the year,a great weekend.
  20. Batchelor always moans about anything and everything, did you notice on the rostrum how Crumpie was chatting to all the Poles.
