  1. We probably are not the team to beat at the moment with one or two riders misfiring but I am sure all will come good for the business end of the season. I have criticised Kerr and had my doubts about him before the season started but lately he has been better and has shown better form for Sheffield. Anders has been terrific from the start, we can excuse a slightly off performance just coming back from injury. Zach has not been on top form for the Pirates and I have seen claims it is because his best equipment has been elsewhere but last night was better and we know from the past he will be on top form when it matters.
  2. Whilst I agree having guests is not ideal I still think Oxford will win, only just but they will do it as long as Shroek doesn't make any cock ups!
  3. We won't wipe the floor with all of them especially Redcar, Oxford and Glasgow with a new superstar added to their team.
  4. Easy enough, I can see Leon Flint and Drew Kemp winning races and one of them will have six rides probably.
  5. I don't see why King is singled out he may have struggled later in the meeting but he won heat 8 and he beat everyone he should be beating. Ellis and Brennan are both very inconsistent and are costing the team.
  6. I think that is a little harsh, he can be good on his day.
  7. Yes I alluded to the track surface being grippier but surely its shape and size make it easier to ride than the smaller technical tracks. Our variety of tracks is why riders like coming here.
  8. He may ride at Belle Vue as its easier to ride but Kings Lynn is not a small track or difficult to ride but more grippy so that may be the issue.
  9. As SharpenRake said the speedway star calculation does not include the scottish cup so therefore only 3 home meetings, as Flint got one of his lower scores against Poole then not including the scottish cup meeting must put his home average up.
  10. He rode well but it was a good team performance, there must be ndl riders who would beat Killeen and Cook.
  11. Yes I agree it is a shame and personally I would rather be in the top division.
  12. All down to economics I would say. The top league doesnt increase gate receipts much if at all and the prices may put off some. Personally I would love to see Poole back in the top league but I just cant see it happening.
  13. I would say Joe T rode as well as expected, past performances he had similar scores. Danny was terrific, always liked him and I would have him back in a heartbeat.
  14. The problem is there is no economic sense to ride at the higher level.
  15. Middlo maybe thought Tobias deserved it but it should have been Kerr who rode well tonight.
  16. I don't know where you get that from, we like close exciting meetings, it is disappointing to not see Edwards ride, he is a up and coming rider with a good future in the sport and talks very intelligently on tv.
  17. I would be disappointed to have JT for Edwards, he is nowhere near as good and not the best option either, Barker has scored better and always seems to revel in winning races against Poole so he would be my pick. Redcar are unfortunate as it looks like Edwards maybe missing for a while and Birmingham have already replaced him with Hagon which weakens Birmingham too.
  18. Yes maybe r/r would work at home possibly but I still doubt it would be the best option considering the reserves Redcar have, it has to be a guest maybe Barker would be the best option.
  19. He seems a good rider so may be worth a go but is he as good as Edwards? They will need a guest though a rider replacement leaves them very weak and there do seem to be a few options.
  20. Different league but Rowe rode for Leicester and Kerr is usually good there but riding second string in the premiership is tough.
