Totally agree with that, always liked him, He got a bit of stick for seemingly helping Sweden in the last race at the 2004 world cup but PK was faster than Scotty on the night and would have won anyway in my opinion. I suppose his farewell should be at Peterborough but not now so if there is one maybe it should be at where his career in England started.
Glasgow probably were willing to pay more than Birmingham as the Brummies were always looking for the cheaper options . Tarasenko was a massive upgrade for Glasgow but to have a rule that the same average is used for two leagues of different standards is crazy but fair play they knew the rule and exploited it.
Glasgow didn't need special dispensation, they didn't do anything wrong, I think that particular loophole has been filled, a bit like Robert Lambert just riding in the play offs, it is the rules that are wrong.
A very happy and well deserved retirement, had his knockers but overall I think a very good rider in his day and a decent bloke. A great servant to British Speedway.
Wright has come back from worse, he is an exciting rider and with that comes a lot of risk. Overall they will be do well I think. Definitely worth watching, Magic, Wright, Harris, Tungate plenty of exciting racing with that lot.
Yes Bellego looked a reasonable signing until he actually got on his bike! Berge has a relatively poor average given his ability, typical of most French sportsmen he can be brilliant but too often isn't.
He wont be one of the best riders in the league, he is inconsistent and will not be a top scorer. A very risky choice but not the only risky choice is this team.
This is a good team and will make the play offs with ease,Janowski a spent force is a ridiculous comment. Harris has proved over and over again he can do it at this level, he is still a top rider in this league, Kerr is the best reserve, Tungate,Klindt and Wright will all hold their own at least, I think the Oxford track will suit them.
Tungate has a pretty decent average considering we had stronger riders in the league the last time he rode here. I think Oxford are going to have an exciting season with the riders they have chosen.
