  1. Yes it seems that way. I have zero faith in Tobias doing anything. It has been said Brennan availability was a surprise and a no brainer, bet they did not bank on getting a Danish rider of very limited ability. Our reserves are going to be very busy.
  2. Yes which was my point all along.Joe T would be better than Tobias, do not know how they work out he is a better rider now than he was in 2019.
  3. Ablitt will do well against the other reserves in this league, especially the two pointers and he has experience.
  4. In my opinion Ben is more than capable of beating most heat leaders
  5. Zach will be a heat leader at this level, all riders at his average have bad meetings otherwise they would be 8 point average.
  6. Zach is improving all the time, I think there is a fair bit more to come and he could add a half a point to his average next season but have a feeling Ben will continue to be the better brother.
  7. Well I obviously I do not want to be proved right but now the news is out I believe I made a valid point which some will agree with. I know I went on about it to the point where some thought I disliked Brennan but I just felt his points could have been used better especially as Kyle Newman is a favourite rider of mine who rode well last season.
  8. I am sure he would have come to Poole if we could of fitted him in.
  9. Tate gone to Workington, sure he would have been a pirate if we had built our team differently.
  10. Kings Lynn look a decent side to me, not injury prone, some of the team have had injuries lately but doesn't mean they are injury prone. Oxford are a good solid team built strength in depth.
  11. Part of the job but probably the enjoyable part! If you can cut down on the travel helps the pocket too
  12. Yes good chance of Ben ending with a high 8, with a bit of Lawson type manipulation maybe lower, i dont think Tom will be a failure I just think his points could be used better.
  13. Yes exactly my point, don't mind being proved wrong though!
  14. No knocking Brennan his a good rider, no one can dispute that but I just think we could have used his points better.
  15. Not sure how an overall points reduction doesnt make it weaker. Having two pointers at reserve is making teams weaker at reserve although some teams havent taken that route. Last season we didnt start with 3 top averaged heat leaders but we all knew Ben was more than capable of the step up to heat leader.
  16. Not in my opinion, in this weakened league he needs to be over 8, depends how others in the team go whether or not it was a good decision to get him.
  17. I dont think getting Brennan is a no brainer, has been inconsistent at Poole in the past but I realise as a home rider that should change. Some seem to think he is a 9 point rider on 7 point average, do not see him achieving more that 8.
  18. Obviously I hope it works out for us. If Max is as good as some seem to think maybe another permutation that could of been considered and maybe was considered is Rowe and Newman instead of Brennan and the rider as yet unannounced.
