Good top two, happy with that to start with.

I think you need to join sky vip first. Very easy to do.

If you buy a chrome cast you will be able to open the discovery plus app on your phone/tablet and send the picture to your tv. I am going to have to show my 86 year old stepdad how to do this which is going to be tricky!! An Amazon firestick or Roku will also work.

Also DAZN have just upped the monthly price from £1.99 to £7.99 a month and they don’t have much content at the moment. If they got PL rights you would probably be looking at £20 a month.

I think Eddie Stobart are moving into part of the Newbury Showground.

Not been as good as last year as they showed all the meetings. However when the Swedish league starts you are getting 3 meetings a week so pretty good value. They also show boxing which I watch so I get pretty good value out of my subscription.

But if you go to a concert at Wembley it’s about £80 for the cheap seats and the place is sold out. BSI/Eurosport Events would not sell many tickets for speedway at that price and would lose a fortune so it’s a non starter. Speedway can’t afford Wembley or any other major stadium in London.

I would be shocked if you got 55k at Wembley for speedway and if you did the atmosphere would be nowhere near as good as 40k at Cardiff. The cost of renting Wembley would be astronomic so at 55k you would probably be losing money unless minimum ticket price was £50 and most speedway fans wouldn’t pay that price for the cheapest ticket. If you want speedway in a big stadium Cardiff is the only option with the roof and financial help from the government.

Amazon Prime is only about £70 for the year so not too expensive. I have DAZN and it is only £2 a month at the moment but that might increase as it seems they are taking the Matchroom boxing from Sky Sports apart from Joshua in June. ITV are also said to be interested in buying part of BT sports.

BT Sport is now up for sale with rumours that DAZN, Disney and Amazon looking at buying it. So all content could be moved to a new platform.
-
Well the government did stop spectators attending so they should help out if clubs require it.

BT also have an app which is on Samsung tv’s, PlayStation and Apple TV so no need to cast it if you own any of these products. when I was with ee I could cast it to my tv using a chrome cast from my iPad -
I would say the Arenacross is a bit like Cardiff where you have your hardcore fans and the people going for an enjoyable night out, I wouldn’t be surprised if the splits about 50/50. Most people I know that go to Cardiff it is there only speedway meeting that year and I doubt very much they would want to go two days running. However, if you had a GP at Belle Vue two days running I am sure it would sell out both days so maybe it could work at different stadiums. Speedway doesn’t really sit well with fans from other motorsports which does surprise me as it’s a damn site more entertaining than formula one.

You may not get the crowds that you think you will if you hold 2 rounds at a track on consecutive days. I have been going to the Arenacross for a few years and it used to be one night in six different uk arenas on a Saturday night which were all near full capacity and the atmosphere was very good. They then switched it to six rounds in three arenas running on a Friday and Saturday night. Now the arenas are less than half full with spectators and the event is nowhere near as enjoyable as it once was as it has a flat atmosphere. If you had a Cardiff GP on a Friday you would be lucky to get 15k and the Saturday crowd would probably be lower than it normally is. I expect most people that go to Cardiff do a 200 mile plus round trip and wouldn’t do that two days running.
